I've been trying to get App 777 to work with the latest update, but I keep running into a persistent login error whenever I try to access the advanced settings. It worked fine last week, so I'm not sure if it's my phone's operating system or if the app itself has a bug. Has anyone else noticed this since the 7.7 patch? I've already cleared my cache and reinstalled the app, but the problem persists. Any advice on a workaround would be greatly appreciated.

Me too. The advanced settings are completely locked out since 7.7. It's super frustrating.

Did you check if there's a specific server issue? Sometimes these updates roll out unevenly, and certain regions get hit with bugs first. I tried logging in via a VPN and it worked temporarily, so it might be location-based.

Just restart your phone. Seriously. It's basic troubleshooting, but sometimes the OS just needs a hard reboot to recognize the app's new permissions.

I think it's definitely an app bug. I'm running the latest iOS version, and the login screen just spins forever when I hit 'advanced settings'. I've messaged support already.

Has anyone found a workaround? Maybe there's a specific sequence of taps that bypasses the login check?

Wait, @User123, I had the same issue. Clearing the cache wasn't enough. I had to delete the app entirely, restart my phone, and then reinstall it. That fixed it for me.

The developer needs to patch this immediately. This is a critical bug that prevents users from accessing core functionality. Please report this thread to their official support channels.

My experience was different. I updated my phone's OS *before* updating the app. That seems to have resolved the conflict I was having. Check your phone's settings first.

It's probably a credential mismatch. Try logging in using an alternative account method if you have one, like using Google OAuth instead of the primary username/password.

I'm running Android 13, and I haven't had any issues. Maybe the problem is specific to iOS users or certain older Android versions. What OS are you on?

I found a temporary fix. If you navigate to the advanced settings through the 'Profile' tab first, and then try logging in, it sometimes bypasses the initial error screen. It's clunky, but it works.

Did you check the App Store/Play Store for any follow-up patch notes? Sometimes they release a hotfix version quickly without a major version number change.

I agree with the OP. It's a definite bug. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to see if they push an emergency update. Fingers crossed.

Don't just clear the cache. Go into your phone's app management settings and force-stop the app, then clear the data. That's more thorough.

My login error only happens if I try to access advanced settings *immediately* after opening the app. If I wait 10 minutes and then try, it works fine. Try that.

It's possible the 7.7 patch changed the required API calls for authentication, and the app developers haven't updated the backend properly. This is a server-side issue, not a client-side bug.

If you are using a VPN, try turning it off completely. Sometimes the IP change confuses the authentication server and throws a generic login error.

I'm going to try resetting my entire device to factory settings as a last resort. If this is OS related, that should solve it. Wish me luck!

The issue isn't the settings, it's the credentials. I changed my password on the main website, and then logged back into the app. That solved it instantly.
