Does 'crazy luck' really exist, or is it just psychology at the casino?

I've been playing a few different online casinos lately, and I keep having these massive streaks of wins that feel almost unbelievable. Sometimes I feel like I've hit a jackpot purely by chance, like I'm on a wave of crazy luck. But I'm starting to wonder if I'm just experiencing confirmation bias, or if there's some actual pattern I'm missing. Has anyone else felt this way, and if so, do you think there are any strategies that can actually increase your odds, or is it truly just random chance? I'd appreciate any experienced advice on managing expectations when the luck seems to be on your side.

It's almost certainly confirmation bias. We remember the big wins and forget the hundreds of losses.

Psychology wins every time. The casino knows exactly how to make you feel 'lucky' until you lose it all.

I think the concept of 'luck' is just a narrative we tell ourselves after a good run. Mathematically, it's random chance.

Short-term streaks are exciting, but long-term, the house edge always wins. Manage your bankroll first.

Totally agree. It's like the gambler's fallacy. Just because something happened before doesn't mean it will happen again.

Have you considered the variance? Wins and losses are just part of the expected distribution. Don't chase the feeling.

I found that setting strict loss limits was the only way to keep my expectations in check. Treat it as entertainment, not income.

Are you sure you aren't just falling for the 'near miss' effect? Those little visual cues make you think you're closer than you are.

It's a psychological game of expectation management. The casino profits from our belief in 'luck'.

I think the streaks are real, but they are statistically inevitable over a large enough sample size. It's just variance at work.

My advice is to play for fun, not for profit. When you detach emotionally, the wins feel less 'lucky' and more like expected entertainment.

You need to stop looking for patterns. The machines have no memory. It's pure randomness, baby.

The only 'strategy' is bankroll management. Never bet more than you can afford to lose entirely. That's the golden rule.

I used to think the same thing. It took me years of losses to realize that the feeling of 'luck' is just adrenaline mixed with dopamine hits.
