I've been trying to figure out the Planet 7 codes for my latest playthrough, but the in-game lore is incredibly confusing. I found a few different theories online, some suggesting a numerical sequence and others pointing to a specific celestial alignment. I'm stuck between using the 'stellar' sequence or the 'chronos' sequence, and I'm worried I'll mess up the puzzle entirely. Has anyone successfully accessed the main vault using these codes? Any guidance on which method is correct would be hugely appreciated before I reset my save file.

I used the 'stellar' sequence. It worked on my first try. Good luck!

Don't worry about resetting. I spent hours on this, and it was just a matter of realizing the codes weren't chronological. They relate to the major moons of Planet 7, specifically their orbital period ratios. I think you need to focus less on 'stellar' vs 'chronos' and more on the physical relationships between the celestial bodies mentioned in the ancient texts. I found a detailed wiki breakdown that might help you re-evaluate your theories.

Short. Try the lunar cycle.

Are you talking about the codes in the outer sector, or the ones near the central nexus? Because my friend got stuck trying to use the 'chronos' sequence for the wrong puzzle. He spent an entire day resetting.

The key is the alignment, not the sequence itself. You have to observe the moment of perfect conjunction between the three visible planets. The code is derived from the degrees of separation at that exact moment. It's much more complex than just a numerical order.

Wait, @StellarSeeker, did you check the environmental clues? Sometimes the game hides a small inscription on a nearby console that gives the true starting point. It's often overlooked.

I think the lore is misleading. It's a simple arithmetic progression based on the visible constellations. Just count the stars in the constellation of the Serpent and multiply by the number of visible moons. That's it.

I'm going back to the 'stellar' sequence. I found a hidden journal entry that specifically mentioned the star map and seemed to confirm that path. Fingers crossed!

The 'chronos' sequence is definitely wrong. It leads to a dead end puzzle that just repeats itself. Stick to the celestial alignments mentioned in the main quest log.

I found it! It wasn't a sequence at all. It was a color-coded pattern matching the primary energy conduits in the vault room. You have to use the three different types of crystals found throughout the planet.

The lunar cycle theory is correct. It's the only one that makes narrative sense with the in-game history. Trust the moons.

Seriously, check the developer notes or a deep-dive YouTube video. This puzzle has been debated for years, and the consensus is that it requires a specific item found in the forgotten sector. You need that item first.

I tried all three methods (stellar, chronos, lunar) and nothing worked. I think there might be a bug in the current patch. Report it to the forums!
