I've been trying to use the Lucky Star app for some time now, specifically for the character quiz features, but it feels like it hasn't received any updates in ages. I was hoping there was a community discussion or maybe a link to a newer version. I remember reading a few years ago that they were planning some new interactive content, but I can't find any recent news about it. Has anyone else noticed this lack of maintenance, or is there perhaps an alternative official source for fan content that I should be using instead? I really enjoy the characters and was hoping to keep interacting with the world of Lucky Star.

I remember reading on a Reddit thread a while back that they were considering moving the content to a dedicated website instead of an app. Maybe check out the official Lucky Star fan wiki for updates?

Has anyone tried using the app on a desktop emulator? Sometimes the mobile versions get left behind, but the core content might still be accessible through a different platform. I found a fan-run Discord server that seems to have compiled some old interactive quizzes, which might be a good temporary fix until they update the app.

Totally agree. I was hoping for new character interactions, but the quiz format feels really outdated now. It's a shame because the characters deserve more! Maybe a dedicated web game would be better.

I found a link to a very old forum thread from 2019 where they mentioned a potential relaunch, but the link is dead. I'm skeptical, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Keep checking back, maybe something pops up.

It's probably just seasonal maintenance. Sometimes they pull back updates when they are focusing on other media or merchandise. I'd say it's not abandoned, just dormant.

I used to love the character quizzes, but I've mostly switched to watching fan-made animated shorts on YouTube instead. It keeps the spirit of the characters alive without needing a constantly updated app.

I saw a post last month suggesting that the original developers might be taking a break. It wasn't official, but it gave me hope. If they are taking a break, maybe we should focus on supporting the community efforts instead of waiting for the app.
