Hey everyone, I've been trying to access prmovies com for a few days now, but I keep running into weird connection errors or the site just times out. I used to stream a lot of older films from there, and it was super convenient. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm worried that the site might have been taken down or that they changed their domain name. If it's down, are there any reliable alternatives for watching classic movies online? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't been able to get to it either. It keeps giving me a connection timeout error. Maybe they moved it?

Yeah, I tried yesterday and it was completely down. I think it might be blocked by regional ISPs now. It was super reliable before.

It's definitely down. I checked it on my phone and my laptop, and nothing loads past the initial page. I suspect it's either taken down or they changed the whole domain.

Have you tried a VPN? Sometimes those sites get blocked by default, and a VPN can bypass that.

A VPN is a good idea. I used one last month and it worked perfectly. If it's a geo-block, that should solve it. Otherwise, it's probably just offline.

If it's truly gone, check out Tubi or Pluto TV. They have tons of classic movies and are totally free. Much more reliable than trying to find a niche streaming site.

Totally agree with the VPN suggestion. I'd recommend ExpressVPN if you need something robust for streaming. It definitely helped me access sites that were otherwise unreachable.

Short answer: No. It's blocked. Try looking for alternatives like Criterion Channel if you want something high quality, though that costs money.

I heard rumors that they bought a new domain name, something with 'streamflix' or something equally generic. But I haven't been able to confirm it myself. Has anyone seen anything?

I found a forum thread suggesting they might have migrated to a mirror site. It was super complicated to find, but it seemed to work for a few hours. Maybe keep an eye out for those threads.

Does anyone know if they have an official social media page? Sometimes they announce domain changes there before the site itself is updated.

I think the issue isn't the site being down, but maybe the streaming links are broken. You might need to search for a different aggregator site that links to the content, rather than the main domain.

Honestly, just stick to Netflix's classic movie collections for now. It's the easiest solution and you don't have to worry about connection errors or domain changes.
