I'm thinking of spending a few weekends at the One Casino location downtown, but I'm really unsure about the value of their loyalty tiers. I've heard mixed reviews, some saying the rewards are great, while others feel the point system is overly complicated. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out the best way to maximize my points without having to play excessively. Has anyone managed to get good value out of the free play credits or the lounge access? Any tips on what I should focus on when I go would be hugely appreciated.

Honestly, just stick to the table games. The slot machine points are almost worthless unless you're playing big.

I found the point system confusing at first, but after a few weeks, I figured out that focusing on the high-stakes poker tables actually multiplies your earnings faster than anything else. Don't waste time chasing minor bonuses.

Lounge access is great, but only if you spend at the bar. They make you buy drinks to get the 'free' entry. It's a soft sell.

The free play credits are fine, but they expire so quickly. Use them immediately on a machine you actually like, don't save them for a big night.

I totally agree about the complexity. I spent an hour just trying to understand the difference between 'Tier 3 bonus points' and 'Experience points.' It's a nightmare.

Try the high roller package. It's overkill if you're just spending a few weekends, but the initial boost in points makes the whole experience feel worthwhile. It's worth the upfront spend.

My biggest tip is to use the casino's app to track your progress. It makes the point accumulation feel more tangible and less random.

Are you asking about the old point system or the new one? Because they changed it last year and it's completely different. The old one was simpler.

Don't worry about maximizing points. Just enjoy the atmosphere. It's a casino, not a math problem. Have fun!

Reply to the point system confusion: I think the point system is designed to make you play longer than you intended. It's psychological. Just set a budget and stick to it.

I found that focusing on spending money at the casino's retail store (merchandise, etc.) gives surprisingly good bonus points. It's a sneaky way to boost your status.

I only went once. It was okay. I wouldn't recommend it. Too much hype around the loyalty program.

The lounge access is the real gem, but you have to know the secret. Ask the maître d' for the 'Guest Welcome Rate' instead of just waiting for the standard tier benefit.

Seriously, check out the fine print on the free play credits. Sometimes they only apply to specific, low-margin games, which isn't always what you want.

I recommend going during a weekday. The crowds are thinner, and the staff are generally more helpful in explaining the point structure to new members.

Just focus on the biggest reward you want, like a free weekend stay, and work backward. Ignore the daily point grind. It's much more motivating.
