Are we really going to struggle with consistency after these last few Dortmund results?

I'm honestly frustrated with the recent run of results. We seem capable of beating anyone, but when we hit a patch of inconsistency, it's really noticeable. I feel like the team is mentally strong, but the tactical execution sometimes falls apart, especially in the second half. Does anyone else feel like we need a major shift in how we approach the midfield battle? I'd love to hear what changes you think the coach should implement to make us more reliable, regardless of the opponent.

It's definitely frustrating. We have the talent, but the second-half drop-off is a pattern we need to break.

I think the issue isn't tactical execution per se, but maybe mental fatigue. We need a rotation strategy that keeps key players fresh for the full 90 minutes.

Midfield consistency is key. We need more box-to-box energy, especially when we lose control in the middle third. A dedicated holding midfielder who can also drive forward would help.

Short-term fixes won't cut it. The coach needs to overhaul the set-piece routines. We concede too many goals from corners.

Totally agree. The midfield battle is where we lose the game. We need someone more disciplined in that area, someone who can shield the back four effectively.

I think the problem is the wing-backs being too exposed. They get burned constantly when the opposition switches play quickly. We need better cover.

The coach should focus on building a more cohesive unit. It feels like too many individual performances are carrying the team, which is unsustainable.

Reply to the previous post: I think the issue is more about tempo control. We rush too much in the first half, leaving us exposed later on. A slower build-up is needed.

We need a dedicated playmaker who isn't constantly under pressure. Someone who can dictate the pace and unlock defenses consistently.

It's the mentality. We need to believe we can beat anyone, even when we are down. That belief is what's missing right now.

The tactical shift needs to involve pressing higher up the pitch. If we force the opponent into uncomfortable areas, their creativity drops significantly.

I think the midfield needs more vertical passing options. Instead of lateral passes, we need quick, direct balls into the channels. That's where the goals come from.

I disagree that it's just fatigue. I saw several instances where the team was tactically outmaneuvered by simple, well-executed opponent plans. We need better tactical awareness.

The coach should implement a more flexible formation. Maybe a 3-4-3 when attacking, and a 5-2-3 when defending, to maintain shape and cover gaps.

We need to address the transition moments. When possession is lost, the immediate reaction needs to be organized counter-pressing, not just scrambling.

The biggest change needed is communication. The players need to talk to each other more, especially when the game gets intense. Relying on instinct isn't enough.

I think the star players are getting too much attention, and it's masking underlying systemic issues. The whole structure needs work, not just one position.

The midfield needs better cover against counter-attacks. We are too stretched when the opponent hits the space between the lines. It's a defensive priority.
