Hi everyone, I'm planning to come down to the ground for the next match, but I'm completely lost on the ticketing process. I was hoping to get a couple of tickets for a group of friends, but the official website seems to be selling out very quickly. Has anyone been to the stadium recently and can recommend a reliable secondary source, or perhaps a specific club account to watch for last-minute releases? I don't want to risk getting scammed, so any advice on the safest buying method would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Check the official club app. That's usually the safest bet for last-minute releases.

I found that setting up alerts on the club's social media accounts (Twitter/X) for ticket drops was really helpful. It's a bit of a gamble, but it worked for me last season.

Avoid secondary markets at all costs unless it's a highly reputable, verified platform. The risk of counterfeit tickets is too high. Just stick to the official channels if possible.

The club often releases a small batch of tickets through their season ticket holders' network. If you know someone who is a season ticket holder, ask them if they know the process for buying extras.

Seriously, just buy them in advance. Waiting until the last minute is a recipe for disappointment. Good luck!

I heard that sometimes local pubs near the stadium get allocated a few tickets for group sales. You might try calling a couple of the major local establishments and asking if they have any insider info.

I agree with the app suggestion. I used the official Bournemouth app last time and it was seamless. It also lets you plan your journey to the ground, which is a bonus.

Be extremely careful about anyone recommending unofficial websites. They are usually scams. Stick to the club's main ticketing portal and nothing else.

My advice is to sign up for the club's mailing list and follow their official accounts. They usually send out warnings about ticket sales or special group packages before anyone else knows about them. It takes patience, but it pays off.

What about student discounts? Are there specific ways to get discounted tickets for groups of friends if we are all students?

I think the best way is to buy a package deal. Sometimes the club offers group rates for 4 or 6 people, which is much safer than trying to buy individual tickets piecemeal.

The official website is the primary source, but sometimes the club partners with a specific local vendor for group sales. Check the 'Community' or 'Groups' section of the main site, they might list that partner.

I had a terrible experience buying through a third party. They charged exorbitant fees and the tickets were invalid. Please, use the official channels only. It's worth the effort.

Check if there are any charity tie-ins or community events happening around the match day. Sometimes those events include ticket bundles that are sold safely and legally.

Just buy them early. Seriously. Don't wait until the day before. You will regret it.
