I'm planning a trip to Copenhagen and I'm really looking forward to checking out Frederiksberg Slot. I've heard mixed things about the atmosphere and the actual slot machines. Before I go, I was hoping someone who has been recently could give me some advice. Are there any specific promotions running, or perhaps a better time of day to visit if I want a less crowded experience? Also, does anyone know if they have any good food or drink options on site, or if it's better to bring snacks? Any insider tips would be hugely appreciated!

Check the official website first. They usually list any current promotions there.

I went last month, and honestly, it was quite overwhelming. If you want less crowds, try visiting mid-afternoon on a weekday. The atmosphere is much calmer then.

Don't expect fancy dining. There are some quick grab-and-go snacks and a few bar options, but bringing a bottle of water is smart.

They sometimes run 'happy hour' deals on drinks, usually early evening. Keep an eye out for signs near the bar area.

I found the atmosphere okay, but the machines felt a bit dated. Maybe don't go expecting a huge modern casino vibe.

I agree with the timing advice. Weekday afternoons are definitely the way to go for a relaxed visit.

For food, I highly recommend grabbing a pastry from a nearby bakery before you go. It's much better than what's available inside.

Did you check if they have any loyalty programs? Sometimes those offer bonus credits or free drinks, which is the best 'deal' to look for.

The slot machines are fine, but the real fun is in the arcade games near the entrance. They are less intense and more fun for a casual visit.

I think the best deal is just going early enough that you aren't rushing. It makes the whole experience feel more manageable and enjoyable.

Be careful about promotions advertised by third parties online. Always verify deals directly through the venue's official channels to avoid disappointment.

I think the food options are surprisingly decent for a quick bite. There's a small cafe that serves decent sandwiches and coffee.

Definitely bring cash. While they take cards, some of the smaller snack vendors or arcade tokens might prefer cash payments.

I'd say the atmosphere is best right before closing time. It's quieter, and the staff are often more relaxed and helpful.

My only tip is to set aside a budget for drinks. The prices can add up quickly if you aren't careful.
