I've been trying to use the Bovada poker app for a few weeks now, but the interface seems really clunky. Specifically, when I try to switch between different table types or view my tournament history, the app often freezes or just lags significantly. Has anyone found a workaround for this, or maybe a better way to access the data? I'm worried that the poor performance might be affecting my gameplay experience. I've already cleared the cache and reinstalled it, so I'm hoping this is just a known bug that needs a patch.

Mine too. It's super frustrating when you're in the middle of a session and the app just stalls. I think they need a major UI overhaul.

Did you try switching from Wi-Fi to cellular data? Sometimes the connection type makes a huge difference with these streaming apps. It's worth testing even if you think your connection is fine.

I had the same issue last month. It wasn't just the interface, though. The tournament payout calculation screen was giving me an error code 404 every time I checked my history. I ended up having to use their desktop site instead, which was much smoother.

Short. Just use the website.

Totally agree about the lag. I noticed it gets significantly worse if I have background apps running on my phone. Make sure you close everything else out before opening the poker app. It helped me stabilize things a bit.

Has anyone found a specific setting within the app that controls the refresh rate or data loading? I'm looking for a technical workaround, not just a suggestion to use the website. I really prefer the mobile experience when I'm on the go.

Re: I noticed it gets significantly worse if I have background apps running on my phone. Totally. And also, I found that if I restart my phone completely (not just rebooting it), the performance jump is noticeable for a few hours. It's a simple fix, but it works.

Maybe it's an OS compatibility issue? I'm on the latest version of iOS, but my friend is on an older Android version and says his lags are much less severe. It might be platform specific.

The customer support chat was useless. They just told me to clear the cache, which I already did. They didn't offer any actual troubleshooting steps beyond that. Very disappointing support experience overall.

I think the problem might be with the specific table type you are trying to view. Some of the niche games might be poorly optimized for mobile viewing compared to the standard cash games. Try sticking to the basics for now.

Seriously, the UX/UI needs a total rethink. It feels like they designed it five years ago and never updated it. It's clunky, slow, and confusing to navigate between sections. I'm considering switching to a competitor until they fix it.

I've noticed the same thing when switching views. It's definitely a performance bottleneck. Keep an eye on their official forums; they might announce a patch soon.
