I've been trying to use the live chat feature on 32red for customer support, but it keeps timing out or just connecting to a loop. I need help understanding my account settings, and I've spent almost an hour trying to get a human agent on the other end. Has anyone found a reliable workaround for this, or is the chat system currently experiencing technical difficulties? I've already cleared my browser cache and tried multiple different devices, so I'm hoping this is just a known glitch that will be fixed soon. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's a server-side issue. They probably need to restart the chat service entirely. I tried yesterday and it was the same loop you described. Maybe wait until tomorrow morning?

Did you try using the dedicated phone line instead? Sometimes the chat system is the first thing to break during high traffic periods.

Short and sweet: Try clearing your cookies, not just the cache. That sometimes fixes the session handshake problem.

I found a workaround. Instead of using the chat widget, try submitting a ticket through their main 'Contact Us' form. It bypasses the live chat system entirely and still gets you to a human agent, though it's slower. I used this last night when the chat was totally dead. It took about 45 minutes to get a response, but at least I got answers.

Replying to the user above: Has anyone confirmed if the phone line is also down? Because if both the chat and the phone line are problematic, this is a massive outage.

It's definitely a known glitch. Check the official 32red status page if they have one. They usually post maintenance alerts there before the chat breaks.

I'm going to try a different browser entirely. I've only used Chrome so far, maybe Firefox will connect properly. Wish me luck!

Did anyone else notice that the chat widget only works if you are logged in via the mobile app? I had to switch devices to get it to connect.

Replying to the user who suggested the phone line: I called them, and they kept putting me on hold for over twenty minutes before disconnecting. So, the phone line isn't much better either. This is frustrating.

I've been having the same issue. I suspect it's related to VPN usage. I turned my VPN off and immediately connected to a regional IP address, and the chat connected instantly. Try that if you are using a VPN.
