I just bought a pair of shoes for my son and they ended up being the wrong size. I tried to initiate a return through the Nike website portal, but the system kept giving me an error message. I spent nearly 20 minutes trying different browsers and clearing my cache, but nothing worked. I finally had to call them, and the representative was very helpful, but the initial online process is seriously frustrating. Has anyone found a reliable workaround for the return tracking or maybe a better phone number to use? I just want to get this sorted quickly.

I spent hours trying to return a jacket. The website kept crashing, and the automated phone system just looped me back to the main menu. It felt like I was talking to a robot who didn't actually know anything. I finally had to use a friend's computer and cleared all cookies manually, which worked, but it was exhausting. Seriously, they need a major overhaul of their online return system. It's so frustrating when you just want a simple refund.

My experience was terrible. I had to wait 45 minutes on hold, and when I finally spoke to someone, they told me I needed to physically bring the shoes back to a store, even though I ordered them online. That defeats the purpose of having an online return option. They really need to streamline this process or offer better self-service tools. It's a huge inconvenience for people who live far from physical stores.

Here is a comprehensive guide I found on Reddit that helped me. First, gather your order number and the original receipt. Second, check if the item is within the 30-day return window. Third, if the portal fails, take a screenshot of the error and use that evidence when you contact them via email or social media. Finally, always keep proof of the return shipment until you see the refund hit your account. It takes effort, but it works.
