Hi everyone, I'm planning a trip to the area and the Casino Cromwell is high on my list. I've heard mixed reviews about the atmosphere and the quality of the slot machines. Has anyone been in the last few months? I'm particularly interested in knowing if the blackjack tables are busy and if the house edge feels fair. Also, are there any good dining options nearby that aren't part of the main casino restaurant? Any insider tips on navigating the place or finding the best value would be hugely appreciated.

I went last month. The atmosphere is okay, but definitely not 'wow'. The blackjack tables are usually busy, especially on weekends. Be prepared for a wait.

For dining, skip the casino floor. Check out 'The Bistro' two blocks over. It has much better reviews and a more relaxed vibe. Great for a pre-gaming meal.

The slots are fine, but don't expect jackpots every hour. They are standard casino fare. I found the house edge to be typical, nothing unusually aggressive, but definitely there.

Seriously, save your money. There are better, less crowded casinos nearby. Cromwell feels a bit dated.

Hey, I agree about the dining. I ate at 'The Corner Cafe' instead. Super local feel, great sandwiches, and much cheaper than anything inside the complex.

Tip: If you want to play blackjack, go during weekday afternoons. The tables are much less hectic, and you can get a better feel for the game without the rush.

Are you worried about the house edge? Don't stress over it too much. Just set a budget and stick to it. That's the best strategy, regardless of the location.

I was there last week. The blackjack tables were surprisingly empty on a Saturday night, which was weird. Maybe they were doing a special promotion that night?

The main casino restaurant is overpriced and mediocre. Look for places near the waterfront. There's a nice Italian spot called 'Vino Bella' that I highly recommend for a proper dinner.

Definitely check out the free entertainment schedule online before you go. They often have live music or special deals that can save you some cash.

Totally agree with the dining tip about 'The Corner Cafe'. It's a real gem and a huge upgrade from the casino food. I'll make that my go-to spot.

Regarding the atmosphere, it depends on the time. Mid-day feels dead, but late night is buzzing. Dress code is casual-smart, nothing too fancy required.

I think the biggest tip is to walk around the periphery. There are some smaller, less obvious games and betting areas that offer better value than the main slot banks.

I found the house edge to be standard for the region. Just treat it as entertainment spending, not an investment. Have fun!

If you're a blackjack player, ask the pit boss about local strategies or if they run any specific promotions that night. Sometimes they have better payouts on certain days.

My only complaint is the parking structure. It's a nightmare to navigate and costs way too much. Plan to arrive early to avoid the worst of the traffic.

The Cromwell is okay for a quick night out, but don't expect a five-star experience. It's functional. For a truly luxurious feel, you might want to look further afield.

I recommend checking out the local breweries nearby. It's a great way to spend an afternoon and still feel like you're in the area without the casino pressure.
