I've been trying to figure out the best approach for the new Diamond Vault heist, and I'm running into some roadblocks. The planning phase seems complex, and I'm not sure if I should focus on the brute force entry or the stealth approach. Has anyone figured out the best combination of crew members and specialized gear for this specific job? I've read a few guides, but they seem outdated, and I want to make sure we aren't wasting time on a suboptimal strategy. Any tips on minimizing casualties or maximizing loot yield would be greatly appreciated!

Stealth is always better.

You really need to focus on the security schematics first. The brute force option is a death trap, trust me. I spent hours mapping out the ventilation shafts, and that's where the real weakness is. Forget the outdated guides; they don't account for the new laser grid system. We need specialized bypass gear, not just heavy explosives. Also, assigning a dedicated scout to monitor guard rotations is non-negotiable for minimizing casualties.

Crew composition matters most.

I think a mixed approach is best. Use stealth for entry, but be prepared for a quick, decisive brute force exit if things go south. It's about flexibility. We should prioritize gear that allows for rapid transitions between modes. What about acquiring a temporary distraction device? Something loud but non-lethal.

What about the heat signature dampeners?

Replying to the 'mixed approach' post: I disagree. Mixing methods introduces too many variables. If we commit to stealth, we commit fully. If we commit to brute force, we commit fully. Trying to do both just makes us predictable and gives the security team too many angles to exploit. Stick to one core strategy until we are past the outer perimeter.

Loot yield is secondary to survival.

The ventilation shaft idea is solid. We need a specialist for that. Also, check out the forum thread about the 'Cerberus' bypass tool. It's rumored to handle the new vault locking mechanism much better than the old plasma cutters. I'd bet on that over any heavy explosives.

I recommend the 'Ghost' crew build. High tech, low profile.

The schematics are useless if we don't account for the automated response drones. They patrol every corner, and they are equipped with sonic disruptors. We need countermeasures for those specific frequencies. I think a coordinated distraction using EMP bursts would buy us the necessary window to bypass the drone network.

Agreed. Focus on the schematics.

How much specialized gear are we talking about? Budget constraints are real.

To reply to the 'Ghost' crew build: While the tech is great, the maintenance required for that level of gear is insane. We need reliable, rugged equipment that can take a beating. A combination of tactical armor and non-electronic countermeasures seems more practical for minimizing downtime and maximizing our chances of escape.

We need a diversion plan.

The key isn't just the gear, it's the timing. We need to time our entry with the shift change and the scheduled power fluctuation. That brief window of chaos is when we hit the vault. If we can coordinate the timing, the loot yield becomes almost limitless, and the casualties drop to zero. It's a delicate dance, but achievable.
