My partner and I are planning a trip to Vegas next month and we're trying to decide on accommodation. We've been looking at Westgate and the reviews are really mixed, which is confusing. Could those who have stayed there recently give us some honest feedback? Specifically, we are interested in the value proposition-is it genuinely affordable, or are some amenities misleading? Also, if we plan to spend most of our time at the Strip, is the Westgate location convenient enough, or will we feel isolated? Any tips on maximizing our stay there would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, it's great value. You get a lot of space for your money, especially compared to the resorts right on the Strip.

Location is the biggest drawback, hands down. You feel quite isolated. If you plan to walk everywhere, bring comfortable shoes and expect to take a ride-share to most places.

I stayed last month. The rooms themselves are fine, but don't expect luxury. The amenities are good for the price, but the pool area gets super crowded, which can detract from the 'value' feeling.

Totally agree about the location. We had to Uber everywhere, which ate into our budget. If you're staying there, budget for transport.

For budget-conscious groups who prioritize space over proximity, Westgate is a solid choice. Just remember to plan your itinerary around transport time.

The casino itself is decent enough for a quick bet, but the real value comes from the off-site deals and the overall cost of the stay. It's a great base camp, but you have to leave the camp to see the action.

I think the value is misleading if you factor in the cost of getting *to* the Strip every single night. It's cheaper accommodation, but the transportation adds up quickly.

Couldn't agree more with the location critique. We spent half our time just waiting for rides. If you want to maximize convenience, look at properties closer to the central Strip area, even if they cost a bit more upfront.

The resort fee can be sneaky. Make sure you confirm exactly what's included in the room rate versus what's charged daily. That's where the 'misleading' feeling comes from.

My tip for maximizing the stay? Book a meal package at one of the nearby restaurants. It saves time and often gives you a better deal than trying to navigate the massive Strip dining scene.

The rooms are big enough for a couple, which is a huge plus. We felt spacious and comfortable, which definitely adds to the perceived value. Just be prepared for a longer walk to the main Strip lights.

Overall, if you are comfortable with a little bit of a commute, the savings on accommodation make it worth it. Just don't expect a seamless, walk-to-everything experience.
