My group and I were planning a trip to Vegas and decided to stay at the Hooters hotel because of the location and the vibe. We checked in last weekend and the rooms were surprisingly clean, though a little dated in some areas. The staff were friendly enough, but the main attraction seemed to be the bar area, which was loud but fun. We ate at the onsite restaurant and the food was decent, nothing gourmet but perfect for a casual night out. Overall, it was a fun, themed stay, but I wonder if there are better, more modern options nearby if you're looking for a luxury experience. Has anyone stayed recently and can give more detailed feedback on the amenities?

Definitely go for the vibe, not the luxury. It's fun and budget-friendly.

I stayed last month. The rooms are exactly as you described - clean but definitely showing their age. The pool area is fine, but the high-end resorts have much better amenities.

The food was okay. Skip the onsite restaurant and find something off-site. Save your money.

Are you talking about the main pool? Because the cabanas are great, but the overall pool deck feels a bit dated compared to the Venetian.

It really depends on what you're looking for. If you want a themed, casual night out with guaranteed fun, it works. But if you're celebrating a milestone or expecting five-star pampering, you'll be disappointed.

The staff were actually amazing! The bartender who checked us in was super helpful and gave us tips on local spots. Highly recommend.

I agree with the 'dated' part. We spent a night at the Caesars nearby and the difference in room quality and common areas was night and day. Hooters is more of a fun pit stop.

Did you use the fitness center? I heard it's adequate for a quick workout, but nothing to compare to a dedicated gym at a major resort.

I think the 'vibe' is the main selling point. It's a fun, low-stakes environment. Don't expect crystal chandeliers, expect good times and themed fun.

The bar area is loud, yes, but that's part of the appeal! It's lively. I found the complimentary appetizers really hit the spot for a casual dinner.

I found the location perfect for accessing the Strip without the huge price tag of the major hotels. It's a solid choice for a group trip focused on entertainment.

The bedding was surprisingly comfortable. For the price point, the amenities are actually quite generous. It's a good value stay.

Seriously, if you want luxury, book the Cosmopolitan. If you want a fun, themed night that won't break the bank, Hooters is fine. It's a trade-off.

My biggest complaint was the Wi-Fi speed in the room. It kept cutting out, which was frustrating when I was trying to stream photos. Maybe upgrade the internet service.

The pool is fine for a quick dip, but I wouldn't recommend spending an entire day there. It's more of a novelty pool.

Overall, 7/10. Great for a group outing. Just manage expectations regarding modern luxury amenities.
