We just got back from a weekend trip and wanted to share our detailed thoughts on the resort. Overall, the location is fantastic and very convenient for exploring the area. We stayed in a standard room, and while it was clean, the view was quite underwhelming. The biggest highlight, however, was the dining experience at one of the restaurants; the service was impeccable. We spent a lot of time walking around the property, and the entertainment options kept us busy. If you are planning a trip, make sure to book your dining reservations well in advance, as they fill up quickly.

The dining service really makes or breaks a trip. Glad you had a good experience!

I agree about the reservations. We waited 45 minutes just to get a table for two, even with a booking. Planning ahead is absolutely crucial for the food scene there.

Totally agree. The location is unbeatable. It's so easy to walk everywhere and there are always things going on. It felt like a mini-vacation just by wandering the grounds.

Did you stay near the main square? I found the view from my window was pretty disappointing too, just parking lots and a bit of concrete. Maybe the room type really matters.

Regarding the room view, I think it really depends on which side of the property you are on. We were on the high end and had a spectacular view of the Potomac River, which made the stay feel much more luxurious. Maybe try to book a room with a specific view in mind next time.

The entertainment options were great, but we found the cost of the activities to be quite high. It felt like we were paying a premium just for the convenience. Overall, worth it, but budget accordingly.

I heard the parking can be a nightmare if you don't book early. Just a heads up to anyone driving in.

Was the standard room size adequate for two people, or did it feel cramped after a full day of walking around? I'm planning a trip and need to know about space.

Impeccable service is the key! It's always nice when the staff goes above and beyond. I'm booking my trip now.

I think the hype is mostly justified. It's a massive, well-maintained resort complex. The sheer amount of things to do keeps you busy for days, not just one weekend. Just be prepared for the crowds!
