My partner and I just got back from a long weekend trip, and we stayed at the Hard Rock Hollywood. Overall, the experience was fantastic, but I wanted to share some detailed feedback. The room itself was modern and comfortable, though we found the noise level a bit high, especially near the main thoroughfare. The best part, hands down, was the live music venue; the energy was incredible and really captured the 'Hollywood' vibe. We also tried the rooftop bar, which offered amazing views, though it was quite pricey. If you are planning a trip, I'd recommend booking a room slightly away from the main casino floor if you plan on sleeping well. We'd definitely go back, but maybe for a slightly quieter experience.

Totally agree about the noise. We stayed near the main entrance and it was borderline unbearable after 10 PM. Definitely book far away from the action.

I'm so glad you had a great time overall. For future reference, if you are sensitive to noise, I highly recommend looking at the rooms on the upper floors, away from the casino floor entirely. We found the difference to be night and day. The view from the rooftop is incredible, but yes, prepare your wallet for the drinks!

The live music truly is the star. It felt like stepping into a movie set. Worth the hype just for the atmosphere.

Was it really worth the hype? I felt it was a bit overpriced for what it offered.

The dining options were disappointing. I expected better quality given the location and the general vibe. Maybe stick to room service or bring snacks?

Oh really? I thought the noise was manageable if you were just passing through. Maybe it's just the main thoroughfare that's the worst part? I heard the quieter wings are okay.

For a trip like this, plan to dedicate at least two full days. Day one: explore the casino and hit the live music. Day two: take a morning walk through Hollywood Blvd and then relax by the pool. Don't forget to book a reservation for the rooftop bar, or you'll wait forever.

I loved the energy of the music venue too! It was electric. But I agree, maybe stick to a specific genre of music if you want a more relaxed vibe, rather than the constant high-energy pop acts.

If you are looking for a less 'themed' but equally luxurious experience, you might want to look at the Beverly Hills hotels nearby. They offer great pools and views without the constant noise of a major casino.

Overall, a solid 8/10. The hype is mostly justified by the entertainment value, but management really needs to address the noise mitigation between the main casino floor and the guest rooms. If they could fix that, it would be a 10/10. Great location, amazing music, but the sleep quality suffered.

When you say 'slightly away from the main casino floor,' are we talking about a specific wing or just a different floor level? Any specific room numbers you recommend?
