I just got back from a trip to Vegas and decided to stay at Westgate. We were really hoping for a luxury experience, but honestly, it felt a little underwhelming compared to some of the other mega-resorts. The location was great for getting around, and the rooms were clean, but the amenities felt a bit dated. I spent most of my time at the pool, which was nice, but the service staff seemed stretched thin. Overall, it was fine for a quick, budget-friendly stop, but if you're looking for a five-star pampering experience, you might want to look elsewhere.

Totally agree. It's great for function, but definitely not for luxury vibes.

I found the location unbeatable, though. Being close to everything made the slight lack of polish completely forgivable for us. We were mostly focused on the day club scene, and Westgate was perfect for that.

Short and sweet: Good value.

Are you talking about the pool area specifically? I heard the main pool is huge and really well maintained, even if the room decor is a bit old school. Maybe check out the resort's specific pool hours.

I disagree slightly. While it might not be a mega-resort spectacle, the staff were actually very helpful when we needed them. We had a minor issue with our room key, and they fixed it immediately. It was efficient, which is what matters when you're on a tight schedule.

Reply to the previous post: @[User] I think you might be confusing 'dated' with 'classic Vegas'. Sometimes that old-school feel is part of the charm, especially if you're looking for a more relaxed, non-glamorous atmosphere.

If you're budget-conscious, look at their package deals. Sometimes booking a stay plus a meal credit makes the whole experience feel much more luxurious than just the room rate suggests. It's all about maximizing the value.

Honestly, I found the service staff to be fine. They were busy, yes, but they always smiled and were quick to point you in the right direction. Don't let the occasional overworked employee ruin the whole trip for you.

Did you try the restaurants on site? We ate at the Italian place and it was surprisingly good, much better than we expected for the price point. It was a solid dinner experience.

I'm heading there next month. Any tips on which room type to book to maximize space? I heard the corner rooms are best.

Reply to the previous post: @[User] Corner rooms are great, but if you want the best view and least amount of noise, try to get a room facing the main plaza area, even if it's not a corner. It's quieter.

It really depends on your travel goal. If your goal is just a place to sleep between activities, it's perfect. If your goal is to be entertained 24/7 by flashing lights and five-star service, then yes, save up for Caesars or Bellagio.

I'd recommend checking out the Westgate website for any special promotions. Sometimes they run deals that make it feel much more premium than it actually is.

Totally worth it for the location alone. It's a hub. Just manage your expectations regarding the 'wow' factor, and you'll have a great time.

I agree with the 'budget-friendly' assessment. It hits the mark for value without making you feel like you're camping. It's a solid mid-tier option.
