I finally made it to the Avi Resort Casino last weekend, and I wanted to share my full experience. The resort itself is stunning, and the atmosphere is definitely high-end. Regarding the casino floor, the selection of games was massive, which was great. However, I found the customer service a bit inconsistent; some staff were excellent, but others seemed overwhelmed. If you're planning a trip, I'd recommend checking out the non-gaming amenities first, like the restaurants, as they are equally impressive. Overall, it's a solid destination, but maybe manage your expectations regarding the casino floor itself.

Totally agree about the service inconsistency. It made the whole experience feel uneven.

The restaurants are definitely the highlight for me. We spent an entire evening just exploring the dining options and it was incredible. It really lived up to the hype, but for the food, not the slots.

Short and sweet: Worth it for the view.

I found the staff mostly fine, but I agree that the sheer size of the casino meant they were constantly overwhelmed. It felt chaotic rather than luxurious at times. I think the marketing oversells the 'seamless' experience.

Replying to the user who mentioned the restaurants: I concur! We ate at three different places and it was a perfect night. The ambiance in the main dining hall was spectacular and definitely worth the price point.

Is the valet parking expensive? I'm planning a trip and that's my biggest concern.

It's a solid destination, but maybe manage your expectations regarding the casino floor itself. That's the perfect summary. I went mostly for the pool area and the overall resort feel, and that was fantastic.

I thought the game selection was actually too much. It was overwhelming and hard to navigate. Maybe they should streamline it.

My experience was better than yours. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Maybe you visited during a busy time? It's a five-star operation, period.

I spent a night there last month. The resort is gorgeous, but I agree with you, the casino floor itself is just... average. Don't go just for the gambling.

Did anyone else notice the shuttle service between the hotel and the casino was unreliable? It added stress to the trip.

Totally. The whole 'high-end' vibe is really dependent on the non-gaming parts. The casino feels like a massive, slightly disorganized warehouse of flashing lights.

I disagree with calling the service inconsistent. I found the staff to be highly professional, even when busy. Perhaps you encountered a few outliers rather than a systemic issue.

The views from the balcony are breathtaking. Absolutely worth the trip just for the scenery and the feeling of being there. Casino secondary.

How was the room service? Was it quick and reliable, or was that also hit by the 'overwhelmed staff' issue?

Overall, it's a solid destination, but maybe manage your expectations regarding the casino floor itself. I'm taking your advice and focusing on the spa next time.

The resort grounds are massive. Wear comfortable shoes. It's a lot to walk around.

I think the hype is mostly around the sheer scale of it. It's impressive, yes, but 'worth it' is subjective. For a luxury getaway, it's fine, but don't expect Vegas-level polish in the gaming areas.
