I finally made it to Amambay Hotel Casino last weekend, and I wanted to share my detailed experience with everyone planning a trip. Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were very attentive, making the check-in process seamless. The casino floor was lively, though it felt a bit overwhelming initially. I found the slot machines were decent, but the table games were where I spent most of my time. My only major critique is that the food options in the main restaurant were quite overpriced for what they offered. If you're going, definitely book a room package, as it seems to include better perks.

I actually found the food quite reasonable, especially if you go for the buffet option. Maybe try the Asian fusion section?

Reply to the food comment: I disagree. The steak was perfect and the wine pairing was excellent. It's pricey, yes, but the quality justifies it.

We spent an entire night playing slots. They are decent, but I think the real action is at the blackjack tables. Be prepared to lose a lot of money!

To the person asking about the hype: Yes, it's worth it, but only if you treat it as a luxury stay with the casino as a bonus. Don't go just for the gambling.
