I spent a weekend at the Richmond Casino Hotel last month and wanted to get some honest feedback from others. I stayed in one of the rooms in the newly renovated wing, and while the decor is stunning, I found the air conditioning unit to be quite loud, making it hard to sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent, though, and the staff at the concierge desk were incredibly helpful with local recommendations. Has anyone else noticed the parking structure is a bit confusing to navigate? Overall, it was a decent trip, but I'm curious if the noise issues are common in that section of the hotel.

The A/C noise is definitely something I noticed. My stay last year was similar, really disruptive.

I agree about the parking. It felt like a maze. They really need better signage directing people from the main entrance to the structure.

The concierge staff were amazing! They booked us a fantastic local dinner spot we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend staying here for the service alone.

Short and sweet: Great breakfast, terrible sleep.

Has anyone else noticed the parking structure is a bit confusing to navigate? I spent twenty minutes just trying to find the right level for my car. It was incredibly frustrating and made the whole arrival process stressful.

I stayed in the new wing last month too. The decor is gorgeous, but yes, the HVAC unit in my room was loud enough that I woke up multiple times. Maybe it's a known issue with that specific renovation batch?

Honestly, I was expecting more for the price point. While the breakfast was good, the overall experience felt overpriced given the noise issues and the parking headache.

I found the A/C unit noise to be manageable, especially if you use earplugs. It's not unbearable, just a bit noticeable when you're trying to sleep deeply. Otherwise, the room was lovely.

The staff were wonderful, but the pool area felt a little dated compared to the new wing. It's a bit of a mixed bag, honestly.

Totally agree with the noise complaint. It sounded like a freight train running right next to the wall. I ended up moving my luggage to the lobby just to avoid the sound when I got back to the room.

Five stars for the breakfast buffet. Seriously, the selection and quality of fresh items were top-notch. Worth the trip just for the morning meal alone.

I think the noise is inherent to the new HVAC system they installed. It's powerful, but not quiet. If you're a light sleeper, definitely plan accordingly. Otherwise, the service makes up for it.

If you're coming for business, the location is unbeatable. Just be prepared for the parking struggle. Maybe they should consider a dedicated shuttle from the main lot to the hotel entrance.

The decor is stunning, but I found the air conditioning unit to be quite loud, making it hard to sleep. I really hope they address this in a future maintenance round. Otherwise, it's a solid 3/5.
