I spent a weekend staying at the Cache Creek Casino Hotel and wanted to share my feedback with others who might be planning a trip. Overall, the location is great for accessing the gaming area, but I was a little disappointed with the room service menu. It felt quite limited compared to what you might expect from a hotel of this caliber. The breakfast buffet, however, was fantastic and definitely the highlight of the stay. The staff were very attentive, which really made a difference. Has anyone else noticed the pool area is a bit dated? Any tips for improving the experience would be appreciated!

The breakfast really is worth the visit alone.

I totally agree about the room service. It felt like they just tacked it on rather than integrating it into the overall luxury experience. For a hotel of this supposed caliber, the options were painfully basic. I expected more gourmet choices or at least a wider selection of local specialties. It was a definite letdown and made me feel like I was paying for a premium experience that wasn't fully delivered. I wish they would overhaul that menu entirely.

Definitely needs a pool refresh.

I found the staff to be excellent, though. They compensated for the dated pool and the limited room service. The service recovery when I asked for extra towels was immediate and friendly. Overall, I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.

It's true, the pool needs work. Maybe adding some modern lounge furniture or better lighting would help boost the vibe without a full renovation. Just a few tweaks could make a huge difference.

Did you try the steak room service option? It was mediocre.

I found the location unbeatable. Being right next to the gaming area is perfect for a quick getaway weekend. It's convenient, even if the amenities are a little lacking.

I agree. The room service felt very limited. Maybe they could partner with a local gourmet food truck for special weekend menus?

I think the room service limitation is a management issue, not a kitchen one. They need to rethink their sourcing and presentation. It's a shame because the hotel itself has potential.

I stayed last month and the breakfast was just as fantastic. The omelet station is a must-try. Seriously, go for the eggs.

I'm going to try to get a discount code for the next visit. Maybe that will improve the room service quality?

The staff were attentive, but the pool area really needs a major overhaul. It feels like it hasn't seen a proper update since the early 2000s. A simple resurfacing or some modern tiling would make it feel brand new.

If they could just update the pool and expand the room service menu, this place would be 5 stars. Otherwise, it's fine.
