I spent a long weekend at Bally's last month and wanted to share my experience. The hotel itself feels much updated, especially the common areas, which is a huge plus. My room was comfortable, but I found the pool area a bit underwhelming compared to some of the newer resorts. Has anyone stayed recently and noticed improvements to the casino floor or the dining options? I was hoping for a more vibrant atmosphere, but it felt a little quiet overall. Overall, it's a solid, reliable choice, but maybe not the 'wow' factor trip.

I agree about the quiet vibe. It felt more like a business trip spot than a vacation destination.

The common areas are definitely nicer, I'll give them that. But the dining options need a serious overhaul. I ate at the main buffet and it was forgettable.

Short and sweet. Great place to sleep, okay place to gamble.

Has anyone tried the new rooftop bar? I heard it's much more lively than the casino floor itself. Maybe that's where the 'wow' factor is hiding.

Replying to the original poster: I actually found the casino floor quite energetic last month, especially on a Friday night. Maybe you just went during a slower time? The energy really picks up once the big promotions start.

My biggest disappointment was the pool. It's fine, but the loungers were old, and the chemical smell was overwhelming. They need to invest in better pool amenities to match the lobby updates.

It's a solid choice, but I think the hotel management needs to focus on creating themed events. Just having nice renovations isn't enough; you need a reason to stay up late and feel excited. Maybe a weekly live music showcase in the lobby?

I disagree that it's underwhelming. I spent a full day there and the service was impeccable. The staff really made the experience feel premium, even if the pool itself is basic.

I think the issue isn't the hotel itself, but the clientele. It seems like a lot of corporate groups stay there now, which naturally lowers the overall 'vacation' buzz. It's a reliable stay, but maybe not for the party crowd.

If you are looking for 'wow,' maybe check out Caesars or MGM instead. Bally's is great for a reliable, comfortable getaway, but it doesn't scream 'destination trip' like some of the competitors do.
