I finally made it to the Miami Club Casino last weekend and I have some mixed feelings. The atmosphere was definitely lively, and the location itself is gorgeous, but the actual casino floor felt a bit dated compared to what I expected. I spent most of my time at the high-stakes poker tables, and while the staff were professional, the house edge seemed really high on the slot machines. If you are going, I would suggest checking out the non-gambling amenities first, like the rooftop bar, because that's where the real fun is. Overall, it's a nice night out, but maybe not a must-visit for serious gamblers.

Totally agree about the rooftop bar. The view alone is worth the ticket price, even if you don't gamble.

I went last month and found the slot machines surprisingly generous. Maybe you went on a bad run?

It's definitely more of a 'vibe' place than a serious gambling destination. Good for a date night, bad for a weekend bender.

High stakes poker was great! The staff at the tables were genuinely friendly and professional. I disagree that the house edge is too high.

Has anyone tried the Mediterranean seafood restaurant there? I heard it's fantastic and a great alternative to just hanging out at the bar.

Seriously, the casino floor itself is a bit depressing. It feels like they haven't updated the decor since the early 2000s. Stick to the amenities.

I thought the atmosphere was amazing. The music was pumping and the crowd was buzzing. You might just need to adjust your expectations.

The parking fees are insane. Be prepared for that, no matter how nice the experience is. It really adds up quickly.

For serious gamblers, you're better off going to Fontainebleau. It's newer, bigger, and the gaming options are way more diverse and modern.

I spent all night just drinking cocktails at the bar and didn't touch a slot machine. It was perfect. You don't need to gamble to have a great time.

I disagree about the staff. The dealers were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the rules. They made the whole experience smooth.

What kind of high-stakes poker tables were you at? Were they cash games or tournament style? Knowing that might help others.

It's fine for a night out, but if you're planning a trip solely for gambling, save your money and go somewhere else. The hype is definitely misleading.

The location is unbeatable though. Being in Miami and having that view from the rooftop bar makes it worthwhile regardless of the casino quality.

Definitely check out the poolside lounge area too. It's less crowded than the bar and still has a great Miami feel.

Totally agree. I went expecting Vegas-level glamour and left feeling like I was in a nice, but slightly dusty, hotel lobby.

Did you try the buffet? It was surprisingly good value for money, especially if you're trying to save cash for the bar.

I found the non-gambling amenities to be the highlight. The spa was incredible. It's a full resort experience, not just a casino.

If you are coming for the poker, make sure to call ahead and check the specific buy-in requirements for the tables you want to play at.

Overall, I think you nailed it. It's a nice place for a celebration, but don't treat it like a serious gambling hub. Just enjoy the ambiance!
