Hi everyone, I just spent a week at the Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort and had a fantastic time overall. The location is absolutely beautiful, right on the beach, and the views were stunning every morning. The resort itself is massive, so I recommend checking out the different zones; the kids' club was a huge hit with my family. My only minor critique was the dining options, as I felt the breakfast buffet was a bit repetitive. Has anyone stayed recently? I'm curious if the pool area gets much better service during the shoulder season, or if it's always busy? Any advice on which restaurants to try is greatly appreciated!

The kids' club is genuinely amazing. My daughter loved the supervised activities. We're going back next year, definitely.

I totally agree about the buffet being repetitive. Maybe try booking a couple of dinners at the specialty restaurants instead of relying solely on the main buffet for variety. The Italian place was a highlight for us.

Pool service is great year-round, honestly. Even in the shoulder season, they keep the area spotless and the staff are always attentive. Don't worry about it being too quiet.

Has anyone found a good spot for quiet walks away from the main resort buzz? We loved walking along the promenade early in the morning, but I'm looking for more secluded spots.

You should definitely try the seafood restaurant near the northern end of the resort. It's a bit tucked away, but the quality is superb and the atmosphere is much more relaxed than the main dining hall.

I stayed last October, which was shoulder season for me. The service was excellent, though the crowds were thinner than in peak summer. It was perfect for a more relaxed vibe.

I know what you mean about breakfast. I found that skipping the buffet entirely and just having a la carte breakfast at the main hotel restaurant saved us from the monotony. It was worth the extra cost for the peace of mind.

The views are unbeatable. Waking up to that Mediterranean vista is the best part of the trip, hands down. Make sure to take a walk to the far end of the beach for better photo ops!

I found the kids' club staff to be incredibly patient and engaging. My son, who is picky, actually stayed for the full day. It really helped us parents relax a bit knowing they were in good hands.

I think the pool area service is actually fantastic regardless of the season. They maintain a very high standard of cleanliness and the staff are always ready to assist with towels or drinks. It never feels neglected.

If you're looking for dinner, try the one specializing in local Spanish tapas. It was fun, lively, and a great way to sample different flavors without committing to a whole meal type.

It was a wonderful week. I was worried about the dining, but I found that the variety *is* there if you explore the different themed buffets. The Mexican station was surprisingly diverse and delicious!

My only complaint was the limited seating at the main pool bar during peak hours. Maybe plan to get there early to secure a good spot, especially if you want a specific view of the sunset.

Seriously, book the specialty restaurants in advance. We didn't, and we had to wait almost an hour for a table, which was frustrating after a long day of beach time. Planning ahead makes a huge difference!
