My family and I spent a long weekend at Buffalo Bill's Resort last month, and overall, it was a lovely stay. The rooms were spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly, which I really appreciated. However, I was expecting the main pool area to be a huge highlight, especially since we paid for the premium package. While the pool itself was clean, it felt overcrowded and the lounge chairs were constantly taken, making it hard to relax. I'm wondering if the resort has recently changed its booking system or if the pool area is just notoriously busy during peak times. Has anyone stayed recently and had a better experience with the amenities?

It really depends on when you go. Weekdays are totally different from weekends.

I agree about the crowds. We went during a holiday weekend and it was absolutely packed. Maybe they need more seating capacity.

I actually found the pool area fantastic! We went mid-week and there was plenty of space. Try booking a stay right before a major holiday to avoid the peak rush.

The kids' splash zone is great, but the main pool gets ridiculously crowded. Definitely book an early morning slot if you want to relax.

Did you check out the lazy river? That was much more relaxing than the main pool, even when it was busy. It's a nice alternative.

Reply to user 'PoolFanatic': I totally understand what you mean about the booking system. It felt confusing trying to reserve everything. I think they need a clearer online guide for amenities.

Honestly, I think the resort is beautiful, but the pool area definitely feels under-resourced for the number of guests they accommodate. It's a common issue at large resorts.

It was okay. Nothing special. Just a standard resort pool. Don't expect miracles, I guess.

Reply to user 'PoolFanatic': You are right, the pool itself is clean, but the sheer volume of people makes it stressful rather than relaxing. Maybe the resort needs to implement timed entry passes for the pool area during peak hours.

I stayed last month and it was surprisingly empty. Maybe the crowd issue is localized to certain days of the week. Give it another try on a Tuesday!

The staff made up for the crowds. They were so helpful with towels and directions. Service really elevates the experience, even if the pool is busy.

I heard they are planning a major overhaul of the pool area next year, adding more cabanas and seating. Keep an eye on their official website for updates!

Reply to user 'PoolFanatic': I found the lounge chair situation to be the worst part. We spent half our time fighting for space. It was frustrating. I recommend bringing a portable umbrella if you can.
