How do I really optimize my LV scores in the new raid zone?

I've been grinding the new raid zone for the last few days, and while I'm getting better at the mechanics, my LV scores feel stagnant. I'm trying to figure out if the current scoring system heavily favors damage output, or if consistency and resource management play a bigger role. Has anyone found a specific build or rotation that gives a significant edge when trying to maximize those scores? I've read a few guides, but they seem outdated, so any current, real-world advice would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

Honestly, it's all about uptime. Maintaining consistent damage across all phases is way better than a burst window followed by downtime.

You need to look at the resource generation mechanics, not just raw DPS. Sometimes spending a turn on a utility cooldown actually boosts your final score multiplier.

I think the scoring system heavily favors damage output, but only if that damage is applied during the boss's vulnerable phase. Timing is everything.

My build focuses entirely on maximizing cooldown synergy. I found that stacking three specific debuffs right before the final phase hit a massive score multiplier. Check out the 'Crimson Tide' guide.

Short answer: Focus on survival and mechanics first. High scores mean nothing if you wipe. Seriously.

Replying to the 'Crimson Tide' guide: I tried that, but the cooldown synergy window is too tight. If you pop everything at once, you often waste resources because the boss changes target priority.

Don't forget the positioning. Some mechanics give massive score bonuses if you are in specific zones or near certain environmental objects. It's a raid puzzle, not just a DPS race.

I found that using the secondary utility cooldown (the one that refreshes after the primary one) right before the phase transition is key. It seems to reset the score timer favorably.

Are you playing the Mythic difficulty? The scoring metrics change drastically between Mythic and Heroic. The resource management scales up exponentially.

I think the problem might be your rotation itself. You're probably prioritizing the biggest nuke instead of the highest DPS-per-second-resource-cost ability. Do a deep dive into the math.

I disagree that it's just damage. Consistency is vital, but 'consistency' doesn't mean doing the same thing. It means maintaining a high average output over a variable period.

My advice is to record your runs and analyze the damage spikes. Look for dips. The gaps are where your score is being lost.

Have you checked the patch notes? They adjusted the scoring weight for crowd control effects last week. It's a huge factor now.

The resource management part is tricky. You need to treat your cooldowns like limited currency. Don't spend them early just because they are fun to use.

Replying to the 'Mythic difficulty' comment: Yes, Mythic is brutal. We're talking about needing perfect execution on the add mechanics, not just the boss.

Honestly, just farming the easiest parts of the zone until you feel comfortable with the flow helps. Don't jump straight into max score attempts.

I found a specific combination of consumables and gear sets that boosts the score multiplier by about 15%. It requires a specific setup, so be prepared for some gear changes.

Try focusing on the 'burst window' mechanic during the second phase. It seems to be the most heavily weighted scoring event. Stack your biggest hits there.

The key isn't the build, it's the mindset. You need to be hyper-aware of the clock and the raid timer. Every second counts for the score.
