I've been trying to log into my freecash account for the past hour, and I keep getting an error message saying my credentials are incorrect. I am absolutely sure I am using the right email and password, so I was hoping someone here might have run into this before. Has anyone else had to use the 'forgot password' link, or is there a specific troubleshooting step I should be following? I'm worried I might be locked out until I figure this out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies first. Sometimes old data interferes with the login script, even if your credentials are correct.

I had this exact issue last month. It turned out I was accidentally using an old, saved password from a different site. I had to manually reset it through the official recovery link. It was super frustrating.

I think the issue might be related to how your IP address is being handled. When I was traveling, I got locked out until I waited 24 hours and tried logging in from a completely different network. It's possible Freecash flagged your current IP as suspicious.

Check capitalization. Passwords are case sensitive, even if you think they aren't. It's the most common mistake.

Before panicking about being locked out, make sure you aren't trying to log in too many times in a row. Too many failed attempts can trigger a temporary security lockout on their end. Give it an hour and try again.

If the standard 'forgot password' link isn't working, your best bet is contacting their official customer support via email or their help center ticket system. Do not rely on third-party recovery services. When you contact them, provide as much detail as possible about when you created the account and what devices you usually use. Sometimes they need to verify ownership through other means, like an associated secondary email or phone number. Also, try using a different browser entirely, like switching from Chrome to Firefox, just to rule out a browser-specific bug. Finally, if you are using a VPN, try logging in without it, as some sites block VPN IPs for security reasons.

Thanks for the detailed steps. I'm going to try switching browsers right now.

If all else fails, remember that the support ticket system is your safest bet. If you can't get through the automated password reset, a human agent needs to manually review your account status. Keep records of every interaction you have with them.

Sometimes the issue isn't with the credentials or the browser, but with the backend server itself. If the site is undergoing maintenance or experiencing high traffic, the login process can fail even if your details are perfect. Check their official Twitter or status page for any reported outages. If they are down, you simply have to wait until they fix it.

Wait 12 hours. Seriously. It works every time.

I hope it's not an IP issue. I've heard that sometimes they just ban the IP temporarily if there's unusual activity, even if the user is legitimate. I'll try logging in from my phone's cellular data just in case my home Wi-Fi network is flagged.

To summarize: 1. Clear cache. 2. Try a different browser. 3. If that fails, try a different network (like cellular data). 4. If that fails, contact support with all the details you can provide. Do not keep guessing passwords, as this will only worsen the lockout. Be patient and systematic in your troubleshooting.

Good luck! Hopefully, it's just a simple cache issue and you're back in the game quickly.
