I'm trying to access my account on the William Hill mobile casino, but I keep running into an error message after entering my credentials. I've tried clearing my cache and updating the app, but nothing seems to work. Is there a specific browser or app version I should be using for the best login experience? I'm using an Android phone, and I'm worried I'm doing something wrong with the login process itself. Has anyone else had to contact support directly for a temporary password reset when using the mobile site?

Have you checked if your operating system is fully updated? Sometimes the app fails because the underlying OS is too old, even if the app itself is updated.

I had this exact issue last month. It wasn't the app or the browser. William Hill changed their server authentication method, and I had to use the dedicated desktop site on my phone's browser instead of the app. That fixed it for me.

Try using Chrome, not Safari. Safari sometimes has cookie conflicts with gaming sites.

Did you try a different network? Switching from Wi-Fi to cellular data sometimes bypasses local network restrictions that might be blocking the login handshake.

I think you need to clear the browser cache *and* the app cache separately. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > William Hill > Storage > Clear Cache. Then try logging in again. It's a common fix.

Definitely contact support. They can see the specific error code you are receiving, which is much more helpful than just saying 'error message.' Don't try to troubleshoot too much yourself.

I agree with the previous user. It was a server side issue. I had to wait 24 hours and then it worked perfectly. It's rarely the user's fault.

Has anyone found a direct link to the login page that bypasses the main mobile portal? I keep getting redirected to a generic error page.

The app is usually the most stable option. If you are using the browser, make sure you are using the 'desktop site' view option in your browser settings. Mobile view often strips necessary functionality.

I'm using Samsung Internet on my Android. It worked immediately after I manually deleted the app and reinstalled it from the Play Store. It was a corrupted installation file.

Reply to the user above: Did you try using a different Samsung Internet version? Sometimes updates are buggy. I had to roll back to a previous version to get it working.

It might be a two-factor authentication issue. If you have linked a phone number, ensure that the SMS service is working correctly and that you haven't missed a code.

Just use the desktop version on your phone's browser. It's less buggy than the dedicated app right now. Good luck!
