Hi everyone, I'm trying to access the WM Hill online portal to submit my quarterly reports, but I keep getting an 'invalid credentials' error. I've double-checked my username and password several times, and I'm sure I'm using the correct details. I even tried resetting my password using the 'Forgot Password' link, but it seems to be looping me back to the original login screen without any confirmation. Has anyone else experienced this specific issue recently? I need to get this done today, so any advice on a workaround or who I should contact directly would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? That often resolves credential issues.

I had this exact issue last month. It turned out the portal was undergoing maintenance, and they hadn't updated the public status page. Try checking their official Twitter or LinkedIn for announcements.

Short answer: Call their helpdesk. Seriously. Don't rely on the online tools if they are looping you.

I suspect it might be a VPN conflict. Sometimes the portal blocks logins if the IP address changes rapidly or if the VPN connection is unstable. Try logging in using a stable, non-work network connection if possible.

I agree with the VPN suggestion. My manager told me to try logging in from my personal phone's hotspot just to rule out network restrictions. It worked immediately. It's always the network, not the user.

Has anyone checked if the portal requires a specific browser version? I remember reading somewhere that they deprecated support for older versions of Internet Explorer, and it caused massive login headaches for people.

Don't forget to check your capitalization! Passwords are case-sensitive, even if you think you've typed it correctly. Also, ensure 'Caps Lock' is off.

To reply to the user who mentioned the VPN: Yes, that was it for me. I was using a corporate VPN that kept timing out, which the portal interpreted as suspicious activity and rejected my credentials. It was frustrating but easy to solve once I bypassed it.

If the 'Forgot Password' link is looping, it means the system isn't recognizing your user ID correctly, or there's a temporary backend failure. You need to bypass the self-service tools entirely and speak to a human administrator.

Did you try accessing the portal via a different device? If you are on a desktop, try logging in on a tablet or phone browser. Sometimes the session data gets corrupted on one specific device.

I recommend emailing the dedicated IT support line directly, rather than using the general helpdesk email. They usually have a separate ticketing system for portal access issues and can manually verify your account status.

I found that if you are submitting quarterly reports, sometimes the login credentials needed are not your primary network password, but a specific 'reporting access' password given to you by your department head. Double check who issued your credentials.

I'm going to try clearing my cache and cookies first, and if that fails, I'll call the helpdesk. Thanks everyone for the tips! Fingers crossed I can get this done today.

If all else fails, and you are truly desperate to submit the reports today, ask your direct supervisor if they can submit the reports on your behalf temporarily. It's a workaround, but it gets the job done.

Regarding the looping password reset: If you are using a corporate email address, sometimes the portal requires you to log in via SSO (Single Sign-On) through your company's main network gateway first. Check for a 'Sign In with Company Account' button.
