I've been trying to access the Merkur Online portal for the last two days, but I keep getting an 'Invalid Credentials' error, even though I am absolutely sure I am using the correct username and password. I already tried the 'Forgot Password' link twice, but the reset email never arrives in my inbox, and I've checked my spam folder thoroughly. Has anyone else experienced this specific login issue recently? I need to submit some documents through the system, so any advice on troubleshooting or if there's an alternative contact method would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes old session data causes these credential errors, even if your login details are correct. Try using a different browser (like Edge or Firefox) just to test.

It's possible your account has been temporarily locked due to too many failed attempts. Sometimes you just have to wait 24 hours for the system to reset the lock. Also, double-check that you are using the correct domain name for the portal.

I went through this exact issue last year. My biggest breakthrough was realizing I was logging in with my old corporate email address instead of my personal one, which is what Merkur uses for the portal. Also, check if your company requires a specific VPN connection to access the system. If all else fails, look for a dedicated technical support phone number on their main website, as email support can be slow.

To jump in on the cache point: Yes, I cleared my cache and used Chrome's Incognito mode, and it worked immediately. It was definitely a corrupted cookie on my main profile. Thanks for the tip!

If waiting 24 hours doesn't work, you absolutely need to call them. The online form submission process is too slow for urgent issues like document submission. I found the direct line for technical support on their 'Contact Us' page, not the general help line.

Are you sure about capitalization? Passwords are case sensitive, even if you think you typed it correctly.

Regarding the account lock: I waited 24 hours, and nothing changed. I suspect there might be a system-wide outage or maintenance happening. Has anyone seen any official announcements from Merkur about scheduled downtime this week?

I had a similar problem when they updated their security protocols. I spent hours trying everything, but finally, I had to call their dedicated support line and they manually verified my identity and reset my access. It was a nightmare, but calling was the only way to bypass the automated system failure.

Try contacting the specific department you need to submit documents to. They often have an internal, direct helpdesk email that bypasses the general portal login issues.

Responding to the browser advice: I tried Incognito mode, but it still gave me the 'Invalid Credentials' error. It seems the issue might be on their end, not mine. I'll try the phone number suggestion next.

Also, check if your operating system needs an update. Sometimes security patches required by the portal fail if the local machine is running old software.

I found the number they posted on their internal job board, not the main website. It was a direct line to their IT helpdesk. Calling them was a lifesaver and got me logged in within minutes.

I know this is stressful, but try to remain calm. Sometimes, the simplest solution is just waiting until the next business day. If you need immediate help, please use the alternative contact methods they provide, like a dedicated phone number or a physical office visit if possible.
