I'm trying to access my account on the Bovada app, but I keep running into a strange login loop. It seems like it accepts my credentials but then kicks me back to the login screen without any explanation. I've tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app multiple times, but the issue persists across both Android and iOS devices. Has anyone else experienced this recently? I'm worried it might be a security update or maybe the app version is outdated. Any advice on a workaround or if I should just use the desktop site would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried logging in via a different network? Sometimes VPNs or specific Wi-Fi setups can interfere with the authentication handshake, causing that loop.

This is a common issue right now. It seems Bovada rolled out a backend change that hasn't been fully compatible with the current versions of the apps. You might need to wait for a patch update.

Short. Try a different device.

I had this exact problem last week. It turned out it wasn't the app, but my phone's operating system. I was running an older version of iOS and updating my OS fixed the login loop immediately. Always check for OS updates first!

To the user who mentioned the OS update: Did you check if the Bovada app itself needed an update after the OS update? Sometimes the app needs a specific version to talk properly to the new OS environment.

I agree with the OP. It feels like a systemic issue, not user error. I spent an hour calling customer support, and they just told me to wait 24 hours. It was useless, but at least it confirmed it's on their end.

Wait, if the desktop site works fine, the issue is definitely mobile specific. Try using the mobile browser version instead of the dedicated app. Sometimes the browser handles the authentication tokens better.

Why do you think so? I have a different experience. I cleared my browser cache on the desktop and it worked instantly. Maybe the issue is related to stored cookies on the mobile side?

I'm having the same problem on Android. I completely uninstalled the app, rebooted the phone, and then reinstalled it. It still loops. I think they might be forcing a migration to a new login protocol that isn't fully implemented yet.

Seriously, just use the desktop site until they fix the app. It's way less hassle than troubleshooting a bad app update.

If you are using a third-party VPN, please disable it entirely while attempting to log in. These services often block or interfere with secure login processes, causing the loop you described.

I think the OP should try using a different browser on the mobile device (e.g., if they use Chrome, try Safari, or vice versa). Sometimes the browser's internal cookie management is the culprit, not the app itself.

Long read, but I found a workaround. I logged into the Bovada website on my laptop, then on my phone's browser, I manually cleared the site data for Bovada. Then I tried logging in again. It forced a fresh authentication that bypassed the loop.

Does anyone know if they are rolling out biometric login (fingerprint/Face ID) soon? The current password method feels very clunky on mobile.
