I've been trying to access my William Hill casino account for the last hour, and it keeps giving me an error message, even though I'm 100% sure my details are correct. I've tried the main website and the mobile app, and both are failing. I'm worried I might have forgotten my password or maybe there's a temporary service outage. Has anyone else run into this specific login issue recently? Any advice on whether I should use the 'Forgot Password' link or if I need to call customer support directly? Thanks in advance for any help!

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies first. Sometimes the site just holds onto old data and refuses to log you in, regardless of how many times you try.

I had the exact same problem last month. It turned out it was a temporary maintenance window on their side, not my details. I waited about three hours and it resolved itself. Just be patient!

Definitely use the 'Forgot Password' link. Calling support can be a huge time sink, and they often just repeat the same steps. Make sure you have access to the email linked to the account.

Did you try a different device? Sometimes the issue is localized to the specific phone or computer you are using. Try a desktop browser if you are on mobile, or vice versa.

I think you should call them. If the website is giving a persistent error, it might require them to manually check your account status or verify your identity beyond the standard password reset process. Don't rely solely on the automated links.

Short answer: Call them.

Re: Short answer: Call them. I disagree. Calling them is only necessary if the 'Forgot Password' link fails twice. Otherwise, the automated system usually fixes it within minutes. They are often overwhelmed with calls.

Check if William Hill has any status updates on their social media pages. Companies often post about planned outages or major technical issues there before notifying users directly.

I used Incognito mode on Chrome and it worked instantly. It was definitely a cookie conflict. Always try Incognito mode when troubleshooting login issues.

If you are using the mobile app, try downloading the latest version. Sometimes older app versions fail to connect properly to the updated server infrastructure.

I had the same issue last week. I was told by support that my account was flagged for suspicious activity, which is why I couldn't log in. They needed me to verify my address and ID.

Exactly. If they are flagging your account, no amount of password resetting will help. You need human intervention to lift the flag.

Wait 24 hours. Seriously. Sometimes the system locks you out temporarily after too many failed attempts, and the only fix is to wait for the lock to expire. Don't keep hammering the login button.

My advice is to start with the simplest fix: restart your router and your device. Basic network glitches can cause weird login errors that seem account-specific.

I agree with the 'wait 24 hours' advice. I tried logging in multiple times over a day and nothing worked until I stopped completely and came back the next morning. It was a simple server timeout issue.
