I'm moving to a new area next month and I've been researching local services for pet sitting. I keep seeing mentions of 'nya west' in local Facebook groups, but I'm not sure what exactly they offer or if they are reliable. Does anyone have experience using them for overnight stays or just daily drop-in visits? I have a cat and a small dog, so I need someone who is comfortable with both. Any reviews or tips on what I should ask them about their insurance coverage would be hugely appreciated.

I used them last month. Super reliable for both cat and dog care.

They are great! I had an overnight stay for my dog and he seemed totally relaxed when I returned. Definitely recommend checking their reviews.

Be careful about the insurance coverage. Always ask for proof of liability insurance before booking anything.

Drop-in visits are perfect for maintaining routine. They are very punctual.

I found their pricing a little high compared to a few independent sitters I found through local classifieds. It's worth comparing quotes, but they are professional.

Are they comfortable with large dogs? I have a Golden Retriever and I worry about the staff's experience level.

They are excellent with cats. My Siamese was initially nervous, but the sitter was patient and gentle. They really know how to handle feline personalities.

I think you should ask about emergency protocols. What happens if the dog gets sick or needs vet attention outside of business hours?

Totally agree. Knowing their emergency plan is crucial. I always make sure I leave detailed vet instructions and contact numbers.

I recommend doing a meet-and-greet first. It helps you gauge the sitter's personality and see how they interact with your pets in a neutral environment.

They are great for both. I used them for a week-long stay and my dog seemed happier than when I was home. The communication was constant.

What about feeding instructions? Do they handle specific dietary needs or medications easily?

I found their scheduling system very user-friendly. You can book and modify services easily through their website portal.

I'd say they are reliable, but maybe check out 'Pawsitive Care' too. They had similar reviews and were slightly cheaper for my needs.

I had a negative experience. The sitter seemed rushed and didn't spend enough time with my cat. I wouldn't use them again.

Definitely confirm their background checks. It's a huge deal when you are leaving your pets in someone else's care for an extended period.

I think you need to ask them about their specific experience with mixed species households. It's different than just cats or just dogs.
