I've been trying to find a reliable source for older movie titles, and a friend recommended prmovies web. I was hoping to watch a few classic sci-fi films, but the site seems a little glitchy today. Has anyone else had trouble loading the streams, or is it just me? I'm worried about whether the links are still active or if the site has changed its structure. Any advice on whether I should stick with it or try a different streaming platform would be greatly appreciated. I just want to avoid wasting time on broken links.

Yeah, it's been super patchy lately. I tried watching 'Alien' yesterday and the stream kept buffering every few minutes. I think they might have changed their server setup.

Honestly, I stopped using it months ago. Too many broken links and poor quality streams. You're better off using Plex or a dedicated service.

Just stick to official services. Trying to find reliable free sources for older films is a losing battle these days. Too many legal issues.

I had better luck trying to find the movies through Google's archive search, rather than relying on a single streaming site. It was a bit of a workaround, but it worked.

It's fine if you use it quickly. I watched a couple of classics last week, and everything loaded without issue for me. Maybe it's just a temporary glitch on your end.

Seriously, don't waste your time. I spent an hour yesterday trying to watch three different movies and half the links were dead ends. It's a mess.

Why do you think it's glitchy? I remember it working perfectly fine last month. Maybe the issue is with your browser cache or something?

I agree with the OP. The link stability is terrible. I found that if you clear your cookies and try a different browser, it sometimes resolves the loading issues. It's a hassle, but worth a shot.

I think the site is actually fine, but you need to know which section to look in. They moved the sci-fi classics to a different subdirectory. Check the main menu links carefully.

Oh man, I had the exact same problem yesterday. I spent ages clicking on movie posters only to get a 404 error. It's definitely unreliable right now.

If you are looking for classics, check out YouTube's public domain movie channels. They often have high-quality uploads of older films that are legally available for free viewing.

The user above is right. I tried the subdirectory trick, but even then, the streams were low resolution and kept cutting out. It's a losing effort.

Have you tried using a VPN? Sometimes these sites restrict geographical access, and switching your location can fix the streaming issues immediately.

I'd recommend checking out Criterion Channel if you want high-quality classics. It's paid, but the reliability and picture quality are unmatched. It's worth the subscription fee for the peace of mind.

I found that the site is much better if you search using the original release year and director name, rather than just the movie title. It helps narrow down the correct, working link.

To echo the previous point, the link structure changes constantly. It's exhausting trying to keep up with the site's updates. Just use a dedicated service instead.

Short answer: No. It's too unreliable right now. Try a different platform, seriously. Don't waste your time.
