I just downloaded the newest version of the bet365 app and I'm having some trouble with the live betting section. It keeps lagging, especially when I try to place multiple quick bets during a fast-paced game. On the desktop website, everything runs smoothly, but the app feels clunky and slow. Has anyone else experienced this after the recent update? I'm worried it might be a bug that needs fixing, or maybe I need to clear my cache. Any tips on optimizing performance would be greatly appreciated.

Me too. It's really laggy now. I had to switch back to the desktop site until they fix it.

I updated yesterday and the live betting section is a nightmare. It freezes up constantly when the odds change rapidly. I've tried clearing the cache and reinstalling, but nothing helps. Maybe they optimized for a different device or OS version?

Short answer: try restarting your phone. It fixed it for me.

To reply to the user who said 'try restarting your phone': Did that help you with the quick bets? Because when I try to place three quick bets in a row, it still times out and gives me an error message. It feels like a backend issue, not a local device problem.

I think it's definitely a bug. I was using the app for months without any issues, and this update broke the core functionality of placing multiple bets quickly. It's frustrating because the app used to be seamless and fast. I've reported it through their official support channels, but haven't heard anything back yet. Hopefully, a patch drops soon.

Check your internet connection speed. Sometimes the app just struggles if your Wi-Fi is unstable, even if it seems fine otherwise.

I found that if I use the 'quick bet' feature instead of manually selecting odds, the lag is significantly reduced. It's a workaround, but it gets me through until they patch it. Maybe the issue is with the manual selection interface itself.

I agree with the user who said it's a bug. It's too consistent across multiple devices and network types for it to be just my phone or Wi-Fi. It feels like they rushed this update out without proper QA testing. They need to fix this ASAP.

Long read: I've been tracking this since the update went live. I tested it on both iOS 16 and Android 13, and the performance degradation is noticeable on both platforms. Specifically, the delay between confirming a bet and the confirmation message appearing is unacceptable. I suspect the issue might be related to how the app handles real-time data streams when the odds are fluctuating rapidly. Maybe they need to optimize their API calls for high-frequency updates. Until they release a fix, I'm sticking to the browser version, even if it's slightly clunkier than the old app. It's much more reliable right now.
