I'm planning a trip to Barona next month and I'm really excited to check out the casino. I've seen some mixed reviews online, so I was hoping someone who has been recently could give me some honest feedback. Specifically, I'm wondering about the atmosphere in the main gaming area and if the blackjack tables are usually busy. Also, are there any specific times of day that are better for finding good seats or maybe better odds? Any advice on parking or getting there would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks in advance!

I went last week. The atmosphere is great, definitely lively, but maybe a bit loud if you're looking for quiet conversation.

For blackjack, it's always busy, especially after 7 PM. I found that arriving right when they open (around 10 AM) is much better for finding a good seat and getting settled without the rush.

Parking is a nightmare. Seriously, budget for a taxi or a bus if you can. The lot fills up way too fast, and the rates are steep if you park for a few hours.

Honestly, don't stress too much about the 'best odds' at a casino. It's mostly about the experience. Just go, have fun, and don't lose everything on the first hour!

I totally agree about the timing. Mid-afternoon, say 2 PM to 4 PM, seems to be the sweet spot. The crowd is there, but it hasn't hit peak capacity yet, and the staff are super helpful.

The main gaming area is massive. It's a mix of high energy and low key spots. If you want a chill vibe, stick to the peripheral tables, away from the main action floor.

Hey, have you checked out the bar area itself? It's really nice, even if you aren't playing. Great cocktails and a much more relaxed vibe than the tables.

I heard the same thing about the crowds. I went on a Saturday night and it was overwhelming. I'd recommend a weekday afternoon trip instead. Much more manageable.

Parking is fine if you use the underground garage, but it costs extra. Just walk a few blocks away and take a ride-share; it's often cheaper and less stressful.

Oh, I'm glad someone mentioned the timing. I was thinking of going late, but maybe I should aim for early evening instead. Thanks for the tip!

The atmosphere is generally upbeat. It's a good place to spend an evening, but remember it's a casino, so the energy is always high, regardless of the time.

I think the key is to arrive hungry and prepared for a long night. Don't just plan to play; plan to socialize and enjoy the amenities they offer.

I found that the blackjack tables are usually busy, yes, but if you are willing to wait a bit, the dealers are generally very friendly and willing to chat while you play.

To reply to the user above: Yes, I agree completely. The mid-afternoon window is perfect. It allows you to enjoy the facilities without the pre-dinner rush or the late-night exhaustion.

Just wear comfortable shoes. You'll be doing a lot of walking between the bar, the tables, and the restrooms. It's a big complex.

The best tip I can give is to check their website for any special promotions or happy hour deals before you go. That can save you a lot of money!

I'd say the atmosphere is best when you're with friends. It's much more fun that way. Don't go solo if you can help it!
