I've been reading a lot about gambling psychology, and I keep running into this term, 'casino boomerang.' Basically, it sounds like the idea that when you lose money at a casino, you tend to chase those losses and end up losing even more, creating a negative cycle. I'm trying to figure out if this is just a psychological concept or if there's some actual mathematical basis for it. For those who have dealt with this, what strategies or mindset shifts actually help break that cycle? I'm genuinely trying to approach this with more discipline.
