I'm trying to move some small funds into a new savings account and I need to make a quick deposit of $10. I've done this before, but the bank's website is confusing, and I want to make sure I don't accidentally incur any fees. Specifically, if I use an external debit card for the deposit, is there a risk of the transaction being flagged or delayed? I just want to know the simplest, most reliable way to get that small amount into the account without any hassle. Any advice from people who have done this recently would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar experience last month. They delayed it for two days, claiming it was a 'security review.' It wasn't because of the amount, but because it was a new account and the deposit came from an out-of-state source. Call their customer service line to ask them directly what they expect.
