I saw an advertisement recently mentioning a 'Blue Wizard' promotion through Betfred, but the terms and conditions were extremely vague. I'm trying to figure out if this is a new type of accumulator bonus or if it relates to a specific game category. Has anyone actually used this bonus recently and can clarify how it works? Specifically, I need to know if there are wagering requirements and if the bonus funds are withdrawable after a certain period. Any detailed information would be hugely appreciated before I commit any funds.

I haven't seen that bonus myself. Maybe it was a limited-time offer that expired?

It's definitely an accumulator bonus, but it seems tied to specific sports like football. I used it last month, and the wagering requirement was 5x the bonus amount.

Long story short: Yes, there are wagering requirements. They usually require you to bet the bonus funds 10 times before they become withdrawable. Check the T&Cs carefully, they are usually buried deep.

Short answer: Check the official Betfred promotions page. Don't rely on ads.

I think you might be confusing it with the 'Wizard' bonus they ran last quarter. That one was much simpler, just a flat credit with no immediate wagering requirements, but it had an expiry date.

Has anyone found out if the Blue Wizard bonus applies to virtual sports too? I'm specifically interested in if the wagering requirements are the same across different game types.

Replying to the previous post: Yes, it applies to virtual sports, but the wagering requirement is significantly higher there, like 15x. It's a trap if you don't read the fine print!

Honestly, I found it confusing too. I just played with it, and it felt like a mix of a free bet and a standard accumulator boost. I recommend starting small to test the waters.

Just to confirm, are the bonus funds treated as cash immediately, or do they need to be 'unlocked' through gameplay first? This is the crucial detail I need to know.

I heard it was only available during major tournament weeks. If you're trying to use it now, you might be too late. Keep an eye on their social media for announcements.

I agree with the OP. The terms were vague. I spent an hour reading the full T&Cs and it seems the bonus is only applicable to specific league matches, not general accas. Be careful.

It's a tiered bonus. The more you stake, the better the multiplier. And yes, the wagering requirements are strict, usually 7x for the first tier.

Wait, if it's an accumulator bonus, does the bonus amount get multiplied by the odds, or is it just a flat addition to the total stake? That makes a huge difference for my strategy.

To answer the last question: It's a flat addition to the total stake, but the wagering requirement applies to the entire combined stake, not just the bonus portion. Good luck!
