I recently started taking Pronto Energy because I've been feeling really drained after my weightlifting sessions. I've read mixed reviews online, and I'm not sure if I should take it pre-workout, post-workout, or even just on rest days. My goal is to improve my stamina without getting the jitters or a massive crash later. Has anyone here used it for intense training? If so, what dosage and timing did you find most effective? Any tips on maximizing its benefits would be greatly appreciated.

I found taking it 30 minutes post-workout is key. It helps replenish glycogen stores without the massive caffeine spike you get if you take it pre-workout. Start with half a dose to gauge your tolerance first.

Be careful with energy drinks. Too much is just jitters.

Definitely post-workout. Your body needs the nutrients when it's most receptive, which is right after lifting. Mixing it with some BCAAs really boosts the recovery effect.

My routine is: 1/2 dose on rest days for general energy, and a full dose 4 hours after a heavy session. This timing helps stabilize my energy levels and prevents that mid-day crash. I also pair it with magnesium supplements to maximize muscle relaxation and reduce soreness. I think the key is consistency, not just timing. It took me several weeks to see real improvements in my overall stamina and endurance during my weightlifting sessions. Don't expect miracles overnight, but if you are consistent, it really helps.

I think you should wait until you figure out your baseline tolerance. If you take too much, the jitters will ruin your workout anyway.

Honestly, I think you are focusing too much on the supplement and not enough on diet. Proper sleep, high-quality protein intake, and complex carbohydrates are the real pillars of recovery. If you optimize your nutrition, you might find that the energy boost from Pronto is unnecessary, or at least, less critical. Try cutting back on the supplement for a week and focusing purely on whole foods. You might be surprised how much your body can handle with natural fuel sources. Remember that supplements are meant to complement a healthy lifestyle, not replace it.

Half a scoop is enough.

I wouldn't recommend pre-workout. It just gives you a burst that fades too quickly. Wait until the afternoon, maybe 2-3 hours after training, to stabilize your energy for the next day.

Please talk to a doctor before changing your supplement regimen. Energy drinks and pre-workouts can interact with other medications or underlying conditions. Also, listen to your body; if you feel sick or overly anxious, stop immediately. There is no one-size-fits-all answer, and safety should always be your top priority. Researching the ingredients and understanding their function is just as important as knowing when to take them.

Post-workout is best, but don't forget water intake. Hydration is everything for recovery.
