I've been trying to find the best tables to play blackjack in Red Dead Redemption 2, but I'm having trouble locating them. I know there are several gambling spots, but I'm looking for the one with the most reliable games and perhaps better odds. Is it the saloon in Saint Denis, or is there a specific hidden location I should be checking out? Also, does anyone have tips on maximizing my winnings or avoiding the house edge when playing there? Any advice on the best time of day to go would be greatly appreciated.

Try the Saint Denis saloon. It's usually the biggest operation there.

I found the best spot was actually in Valentine's saloon. It's quieter than Saint Denis, and the dealer seems less aggressive with the house edge. I went late at night, around 2 AM, and had a solid run. Don't tell anyone, though!

Short answer: The Saint Denis saloon is the main one.

Are you talking about the main gambling room? I heard the casino in Blackwater is better, but I haven't been able to confirm if blackjack is even available there. I only remember poker tables. I'd recommend checking the reputation of the establishment before committing your funds. Remember that in the game, luck plays a huge role, so even the best spot can be a bust.

Totally agree with the Valentine spot. It's a hidden gem compared to the chaos of Saint Denis.

Never trust the house. Always keep a small emergency stash of money just in case you get unlucky. And always play with the money you can afford to lose, even in the game.

Does anyone know if the gambling in the train station area is reliable? I saw some tables there once.

The Saint Denis saloon is fine, but the key isn't the location, it's the dealer. Look for a dealer who seems bored or distracted; they might be more inclined to let you win a little extra.

I think the Blackwater casino is the best bet. It has more machines and more variety. If you are looking for reliable odds, you need a place with high volume of play, which the bigger casinos usually have.

I heard the best time is right after a major event, like a festival or a shootout. Everyone is distracted, and the house might be overcompensating.

Reply to the Blackwater suggestion: I found it confusing. The casino felt too modern and not very 'RDR2' enough. I prefer the gritty feel of the smaller, more established saloons, even if they are riskier.

Always ask the bouncer if there's a 'private' or 'high roller' section. Sometimes the best tables are kept away from the main crowd.

I've noticed that if you arrive just before dawn, the atmosphere is different. The crowds have thinned out, and the stakes feel lower, which can be good for a long session.

Just go to Saint Denis. It's the most obvious, but it's also the biggest. Don't overthink it. Good luck out there!
