I was planning to take my family down to Main Street this weekend and remembered seeing pictures of that tiki bar. I'm trying to organize a fun outing, but I can't seem to find any recent hours or confirmation of whether they are still operating. I know local businesses change a lot, so I figured I'd ask if anyone has been recently. If it has moved or changed names, any information would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I was just there last week! It's called 'The Coconut Cove' now, and it's doing great. They moved slightly down the block, but it's still super fun for families. Check their Instagram for the updated hours, as they sometimes change them for private events. It's worth the quick walk to find it.

Wait, I thought it was called 'Maui Dreams'?

Don't worry, I went yesterday. It's open and they have a great kids' corner setup. You should call ahead just to confirm the weekend hours, but they are definitely operating. It's a fun spot for a family outing!

They shut down for good. Sad.

Are you sure? I remember seeing a sign that said they were renovating until fall. Maybe check the official city business registry or their Facebook page for the most accurate timeline. Sometimes these things are put on temporary hold for major upgrades, which can be confusing for passersby.

I heard it was replaced by a new brewery.

I actually went last month, and it was amazing. The staff was super friendly, and the vibe was perfect for a family afternoon. It's located right next to the old bookstore, which might help you find it if you're navigating Main Street. Definitely go!

It's tricky because they changed ownership twice in the last five years. I think they rebranded to 'Tropical Escape' and they are definitely open. I recommend checking Google Maps for recent photos and reviews, as that tends to be the most up-to-date source for local businesses.

I think it's closed for the season.

You should try calling them directly. If they are open, they will have the most current hours and any changes. Don't rely solely on old pictures or general forum chatter, as local hours are notoriously fickle.

They moved to the corner lot near the park. It's a bit of a walk, but totally worth it. Tell them you're from the forum, and they might give you a little discount!

I think they are doing a pop-up concept now. It's not a permanent fixture, but they are running special weekend events. Keep an eye on the local community calendar for announcements.

Did you check the local news site? They did a piece on the revitalization of Main Street, and the tiki bar was mentioned as a key feature that is still operating and thriving. It seems like a definite yes for your family outing!
