I'm planning a trip to Manila soon and Okada is on my list. Has anyone been there in the last few months who could share some advice? I'm mainly interested in the general atmosphere and if the slot machines are fair. Also, are there any specific deals or promotions I should look out for before I go? I'm also wondering about the best way to get around the area late at night. Any insights on the overall experience would be greatly appreciated.

I went about six months ago, and honestly, the atmosphere is massive. It feels very luxurious, but also a little overwhelming if you aren't prepared for the scale. The casino floor itself is huge, and the fountains and resorts are stunning. Just be prepared to walk a lot. For slots, it's standard casino fare, so assume the house edge is there, but the experience is definitely worth it for the sheer spectacle.

Regarding the slots, they are modern, but like any major casino, they are designed to favor the house. If you are looking for 'fairness,' manage your expectations. The real value is in the entertainment and the dining experience, which are world-class. Budget accordingly for those meals.

I found a great deal on a weekend stay package that included a free meal voucher at one of the high-end restaurants. Always ask the concierge desk at the hotel for current promotions; they usually know about things before they are advertised publicly. It saves a lot of cash.

I agree that the atmosphere is grand, but it can also feel incredibly touristy and somewhat impersonal. It's a massive operation, and sometimes the sheer number of people makes it hard to feel relaxed. Maybe try going on a weekday afternoon when the crowds are thinner? That might give you a better sense of the actual casino vibe, rather than just the party atmosphere.

I recommend going right after lunch, say around 2 PM. The initial rush of people who arrive after a night out has died down, but the resort staff are fully operational. You get to enjoy the beautiful grounds and the casino floor without the peak-time chaos, which I think makes the overall experience much more enjoyable and less stressful.
