I'm trying to book a time slot through the KMJS portal, but the system keeps giving me conflicting availability dates. I checked the official FAQ, but it doesn't explain how the weekend slots are handled, or if there's a specific tier required for booking. Is it possible the system is glitching, or am I missing a step in the process? I really need to schedule this appointment by the end of the week for a project deadline. Any advice on troubleshooting this or knowing the correct booking procedure would be greatly appreciated.

I had the exact same problem last month. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies before attempting to book again. That usually fixes the conflicting dates.

Don't panic. I found that the weekend slots are only available if you select the 'Premium Access' tier first. It's not obvious on the main page. Check the dropdown menu thoroughly.

Short answer: It's a known glitch. Just call their support line directly. Don't rely on the portal right now.

I think the FAQ is outdated. They updated the booking flow last quarter and didn't update the documentation. Look for a 'Tier Verification' step before selecting a date.

Did you check if the conflicting dates are for different service levels? Sometimes the system mixes up the basic and advanced slots. You might need to select the service type first.

It's definitely glitching. My friend spent an hour fighting the system and eventually had to email the booking department directly to get manual confirmation. It was a nightmare.

I agree with the OP. I spent 30 minutes trying to book a Saturday slot, and the system kept saying 'unavailable' even though the calendar showed it. I finally figured out I needed to use a different portal link entirely.

You absolutely need the Platinum tier for weekend bookings. The basic tier only allows weekday slots. Check the pricing page for the required upgrade.

Have you tried using a different browser? Sometimes Chrome has issues with their booking script, and Safari works perfectly for me. It's a simple fix, I promise.

I found a workaround. If you select a weekday date, and then click the 'View Weekend Options' button that appears, it bypasses the conflict error. It's a hidden feature.

Seriously, just call them. Spending hours on a buggy website is not worth it. They are helpful, but you need to explain the error codes to them.

Reply to the person above: @[User] I tried calling them, and they just kept reading the FAQ back to me. I had to insist that they check the backend system for the known glitch. Be persistent!

My experience was that the conflict wasn't a glitch, but a hard limit. You can only book one slot per account per month, regardless of the date. Check your account history.

If you are dealing with a project deadline, skip the portal entirely. Email the scheduling manager directly and ask them to reserve the slot for you. It's much faster.

The system is designed to confuse you. It requires a specific sequence of clicks: 1. Select service type. 2. Select tier. 3. Select date. If you jump steps, it throws errors.

I think the OP is missing the mandatory pre-screening questionnaire. You have to complete that first, and then the dates become available. It's hidden until you submit the form.

To add to what I said earlier: the weekend slots are only available if you are already a Platinum member. The system will not let you select the date until your membership status is verified.

Don't stress about the deadline. Take a break. Sometimes coming back to the portal hours later, or even the next day, resolves the temporary system error. It's usually time-based.

I found that if you are logged in via your institutional email, the booking system behaves completely differently and is much more reliable for weekend slots. Try that!
