Hey everyone, I've been trying to figure out the most reliable way to place bets on bet365 while on the go. I've used the dedicated mobile app a few times, and while it's convenient, I've noticed some occasional lag, especially during fast-paced live sports events. I was wondering if anyone has had a good experience using the mobile browser version instead? Specifically for in-play betting, do you find the app more stable, or does the direct website link through Safari/Chrome work better? Any tips on optimizing the connection or avoiding glitches would be greatly appreciated.

I'd stick with the website. The app sometimes crashes when the odds change rapidly.

Long-term user here. I find the mobile browser version (Chrome) to be surprisingly stable. The app feels a bit bloated with unnecessary features, which seems to cause the lag you mentioned.

Totally agree about the lag. Try clearing your browser cache before betting, that helped me a lot.

The app is generally fine, but only if you have a super stable Wi-Fi connection. If you're on cellular data, the website often handles the connection drops better.

Replying to the 'lag' issue: It's probably less about the platform and more about your internet connection speed. I tested it on 5G and the lag was minimal, regardless of whether I used the app or the site.

Short answer: Website. Just use Safari's built-in browser, not Chrome, for the best experience.

I found the dedicated website link through Safari was much smoother than the app. The in-play betting interface felt more responsive, and I didn't encounter any forced restarts, even during high-action moments. Maybe the app needs an update to optimize performance for live events.

Seriously, the app is overkill. Just use the browser. It's faster and less buggy.

I used the app last week and it was perfect. Maybe your phone model or operating system is causing the issue. Try restarting your device first.

Has anyone tried using a VPN? I heard it can sometimes stabilize the connection when betting internationally.

I think the difference is negligible unless you are betting on extremely volatile markets. For standard in-play action, both work fine, provided your connection is good.

Replying to the 'VPN' idea: I tried it, and it actually made the betting process slower and more prone to timeouts. Stick to your local network or cellular data, but ensure it's high quality.

Browser is better. It's lightweight and doesn't chew up your phone's battery life like the app does.

My advice: Use the browser, but bookmark the specific live betting section. Don't rely on navigating through the main menu, as that adds unnecessary steps and potential lag.

I'm sticking with the app because I like the push notifications for odds changes. It's a minor inconvenience, but I prefer the integrated experience.

It really depends on the sport. For football, the app is okay. For basketball, where things happen every second, the website is noticeably superior in stability.

If you are concerned about glitches, always check your device's operating system updates first. Sometimes the platform issues are fixed by simply updating your phone's software.
