Hi everyone, I'm planning a trip to Melbourne soon and I'm really hoping to treat myself to some Prada items. I've seen pictures of the store, but I'm completely unsure where the best shopping experience is. Is the flagship store in the CBD the best bet, or are there other reputable boutiques I should check out? I'm specifically looking for advice on finding the best selection of accessories, like bags and scarves. Any tips on opening hours or if I should book an appointment would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You should definitely check out the flagship in the CBD. It's usually the most comprehensive selection for accessories like bags and scarves.

I found the store near Emporium quite good last year. It was busy, but they had a great range of smaller leather goods. I recommend going mid-week to avoid the worst crowds.

The CBD flagship is your best bet, hands down. It's large enough to stock multiple lines and sizes. Just wear comfortable shoes because you'll be walking a lot!

Have you considered the department stores? Sometimes Myer or David Jones carry smaller Prada lines that are easier to access if the main store is too overwhelming.

Definitely book an appointment! It makes the experience much smoother, and they can set aside specific items for you to try on. Call ahead and ask about their accessory specialists.

I went last month and it was amazing. They had a huge display of seasonal scarves. Just make sure you check the store hours online first thing.

Are you looking for anything specific? Sometimes knowing if you want a small crossbody or a large tote helps narrow down the best location.

I think the location near Flinders Street Station is slightly more upscale and has a better viewing experience than the one tucked away in the main shopping arcade. It's worth the extra walk.

A friend suggested the store in South Yarra. She said it was quieter and had a more curated feel, which I personally prefer for browsing.

Hey, I actually found a great deal at a smaller boutique near Fitzroy. It wasn't the main flagship, but the staff were super helpful and had some beautiful vintage-style pieces.

Reply to the post above: I agree with the CBD flagship, but I think the staff there can be intimidating. I found the boutique in South Yarra to be more relaxed and personal.

Opening hours are usually 10 am to 6 pm, but always double-check. I found that going right when they open is best because it's less crowded and you can browse slowly.

Has anyone shopped for Prada accessories in Melbourne recently? I'm worried about the selection being seasonal and limited.

Reply to the post about South Yarra: It was lovely, but I found the selection of bags to be quite limited. For the best range, the CBD flagship really is unmatched, even if it's busy.

Tip: If you are looking for scarves, check out the department store pop-ups sometimes. They often get limited edition prints that aren't in the main store.

I would strongly advise against going on a Saturday. It gets absolutely packed, and you won't be able to properly examine the items. Go on a weekday afternoon instead.

The CBD is fine, but if you want a more intimate, high-end experience, look for smaller, independent luxury retailers that carry Prada. They often have unique items.

Reply to the post about department stores: I tried that, but the Prada items felt like they were secondary to the other brands. I prefer going directly to the source.

Don't forget to check out the window displays! Sometimes they feature incredible accessories that are available for purchase, even if they aren't in the main floor stock.

Good luck with your shopping trip! I hope you find the perfect piece. Just remember to take photos of the store entrance so you don't get lost!
