I'm planning to spend a full day at the new Riverwalk Plaza next weekend and I want to take advantage of all the advertised perks. I've seen things about loyalty points, special discounts, and free samples, but I'm not sure where to start. Does anyone have experience with the current perk system? Specifically, are the dining discounts stackable with the retail coupons, or do I have to choose? Any tips on which stores are best for accumulating points quickly would be hugely appreciated before I go.

I found that stacking discounts is tricky. The dining coupons usually only apply to the main entrees, not appetizers or drinks. Check the fine print!

You definitely need to hit the electronics store first. They have a 'Spend $100, get 50 bonus points' deal that is unbeatable. I spent an hour just looking at gadgets and racked up points quickly.

Short answer: Yes, they are stackable, but only if you use the dedicated 'Perk App' to activate the combination. Don't try to manually combine them at the counter.

My biggest tip is to bring a reusable bag. Several stores offer a small discount or a free sample voucher just for bringing your own bags. It's a small perk, but it adds up!

Seriously, check out the artisanal coffee shop on the second floor. They run a 'buy one, get one free' deal every Tuesday, which is a huge perk if you go early.

I had the same question! I found out that if you use the dining coupon first, you can then use the retail coupon on any non-food items purchased afterward. It's a sequential system, not simultaneous.

The loyalty points are best accumulated at the bookstore. They have a 'buy three books, get one free' deal, and the points multiplier is 2x that day. It's perfect for maximizing points.

Don't forget to look at the pop-up markets near the fountain. Sometimes they have vendor-specific perks that aren't advertised on the main plaza board. It's a wild card, but worth checking.

I think the best strategy is to group your spending. Maybe hit the clothing store, then eat lunch, and then use the remaining discount at a different store. It keeps you moving and maximizes the different types of perks.

Reply to the 'stackable' thread: I tried combining a food discount with a clothing coupon, and the cashier rejected it. They said the food discount was 'all-inclusive' for that day. Stick to one type of perk per transaction.

The best stores for points are the health and beauty sections. They often have 'spend $50, get $10 off' deals that count toward your next point tier. It's a win-win.

I recommend doing a 'perk map' before you go. Look up the specific location of the best deals. It saves time and makes the whole day feel much more efficient.

My experience was that the free samples were mostly just marketing fluff. Don't rely on them for major savings, but they are fun for passing time.

If you are focused purely on points, the pet supply store is surprisingly good. They have a massive point multiplier if you buy anything over $75. Bring a friend and buy a treat!

I agree with the 'Perk App' advice. Using the app is mandatory. It shows you which perks are active that specific day and prevents you from wasting time on expired deals.

Just go early! The perks are often limited by inventory or time slots. Getting there right when the plaza opens gives you the best shot at the limited-time deals.

I found that the small, independent vendors near the fountain are the most generous. They often give out small, physical vouchers that are much better than the digital ones you get from the big chain stores.

Has anyone noticed if the perks change seasonally? I heard the fall season brings special 'harvest' discounts that are totally different from the summer ones. Worth checking the official plaza website for updates.

If you are going for a specific goal, like getting a free coffee, focus your spending around that goal. Don't spread yourself too thin trying to hit every single perk.
