I'm planning a trip to Vegas next month and Aria is our top choice. I've been looking at booking options, and I'm really torn about the view. Is the difference in experience between a high-floor room with a balcony and a lower-floor room significant? I'm worried that the lower floors might feel less secure or have more noise from the street, but I also don't want to pay a huge premium for a view I might not appreciate. Any advice from people who have stayed there recently about which room type offers the best value and atmosphere would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I found that the difference is huge, but not just for the view. The height really changes the ambiance. If you are worried about noise, I would strongly recommend booking at least the 15th floor or higher. The higher you go, the more separated you feel from the street level chaos, which is a huge plus for a relaxing stay. Don't just focus on the view; focus on the peace and quiet it brings.

Go high. Seriously. The view is worth the extra cash.

To address the noise and security concern: I stayed on a lower floor once, and while it was fun because we could walk out and feel connected to the action, the street noise was constant. It was disruptive, especially when trying to sleep. The higher floors offer a great balance of being close enough to the action while still feeling like a sanctuary. It's worth the premium for the peace of mind.

I agree with the noise point. The lower floors are fine if you plan on being out until 4 AM every night, but if you want a good night's sleep, the height is your friend.

The balcony is the real selling point, regardless of the floor. If you are going for the view, make sure the balcony is usable. Sometimes the higher floors have amazing views, but if the balcony itself is tiny or faces a service area, you might feel disappointed. Check the specific room photos for the balcony's orientation.

I actually preferred a mid-level floor, maybe 8th or 9th. It felt intimate, not too high and distant, but also not right on the street. It gave us a good vibe and we could still hear the buzz without the constant blare of traffic. It felt more 'Vegas' and less like a hotel tower.

Regarding value, I think the mid-high range (12th-16th) is the sweet spot. You get a fantastic view and the height benefit without paying for the absolute penthouse level. It feels like a solid compromise that doesn't require a massive budget increase. Definitely check out the floor plan diagrams for the specific view you want.

Check the dates. Weekends are always louder, regardless of floor. Book a Tuesday-Thursday trip if you want the best atmosphere.

My advice is to book a room that is high enough to mitigate street noise, but not so high that you feel disconnected. Aim for the middle third of the building. This gives you the best combination of view, atmosphere, and relative quiet. Don't underestimate the value of a good night's sleep!

While I agree that going high is safer, I think the lower floors are perfectly fine if you are prepared for the noise. You get a much more immediate connection to the casino energy, which is part of the experience for some people.
